It was 92°F on a summer morning. The emergency call came in at 9:45 a.m. A man contacted the police to report that he was worried about his next door neighbor, a woman named Anna Garcia. He informed the police that he had spoken to Anna the previous morning when he saw her walking her dog around 6:30 a.m. He noted that she was wearing a sweater even though they were currently experiencing a heat wave. He decided to call the police this morning because Anna’s dog had been barking excitedly for the last two hours (which is extremely unusual in this normally quiet suburban neighborhood). He tried to call Anna on the telephone, but no one answered. Next he tried ringing her doorbell, but there was no answer.
The 911 operator notified the local police and the emergency medical technicians (EMT). Both the police and the EMT arrived at the scene at 9:56 a.m. The front door had to be broken down. Upon entering the house, they found Anna lying face down in the entry hallway. It was a comfortable 73˚F inside the house. The EMT determined that Anna was dead. The police immediately notified your team of crime scene investigators as well as the medical examiner, both of whom were dispatched to the house.
Has a crime been committed? The mystery begins! It is your job to put together as many pieces of information as you can find. (Don’t worry – the dog was taken to the home of close family friends and is doing just fine.)

Formal case Report: Blood splatter, evidence at scene

INTRODUCTION: The death case of Anna Garcia which started by a phone call in August 13. Doug Green was worried about her neighbor Anna because he heard her dog bark for an hour straight. She was found faced down in her entryway hall. It was questioned whether her death was an accident or a crime, and several suspects were questioned.k
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS: The unknown substance found in the crime scene is known as Acetylsalicylic Acid. The blood found at the scene in clumping with anti-A serum was negative and clumping with anti-B serum was positive. There was two people who the blood can belong to and its either Anna Or Alex Garcia which ended up being Anna's . The hair sample belonged to Anna Garcia because it had the exact same features. The fingerprint found at the crime scene belonged to Alex because first his print is shaped like an oval and a little bit wider than Lucy's. The rest are wider and rounder. The shoe print at the crime scene belongs to Anna. All of them have a chance because the evidence shows that each one of these people had something in particular and would need more researching to figure out who's it is. The blood spatter was calculated by experimentation to have fallen at a height of about 6 cm. By using the glastier equation the time of death was at 7 am. the core temperature found after her death was 92.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
CONCLUSION: Her death wasn't provoked but an accident because at the end of each report that has been tested it comes out to be her. Her diet was really bad and on the autopsy her heart was filled with fat and was overweight for her height . Also she could've started feeling bad so she tried picking up a juice box from the table but it was to late and hit her head on the table and fell down and that's why there was drops of blood close to her. She could've had a blood clot time of death would be 4 hours before found dead so 7 am so that meant that the ex husband, Alex wasn't there on time. There wasn't any signs of struggling in the crime scene and unknown substance aspirin was probably used for pain she was having. By using the gel electrophoresis, it made the dna into long and short strands and concluded it was Anna's. Her blood pattern was probably because of how high her hit was from. Recommendations to do next is figured out what rare causes of death happened to people and rule it out to come to the perfect conclusion.
Questions: First rule out it wasn't on purpose or accident?
If diabetes can be controlled everyday, this could've been avoided in the first place?
this couldve have been a heart problem because it looked difficult for her heart to pump blood in the autopsy?
