My schedule:

P.E

Math

Band

Reading

Science

Language Arts

WSH

P.E-

My first period is p.e. My favorite about that class is playing games, for example like speedball. This is my favorite thing because it gets really competitive. For instance, one time we were playing speedball and I was going against friends. It got way too competitive but it was still fun. The top thing I learned from this class is how sports back then had different names and how they changed throughout time. Something I will miss about this class is how I met new friends because of being on teams together. At first I only had a few friend in the beginning. But when we played games or got in partners I met new people, talked more, and became closer.

Math-

My second period is math. My favorite thing about that class is the life project. Reasons why this was my favorites because we got to do roommates and I got to choose one of my friends. Another reason is that it was fun learning about how when you’re older, math is an important thing of life. For example, how we had to rent or buy a house, we had to look at our monthly paycheck and our budget to see if we have enough. Top thing I’ve learned in that class is percentages. At first I didn’t knew what they were then my teacher started to teach it and it ended up as a good thing. What I will miss in that class is how we did fun projects/activities. Maybe next year will be different.

Band-

My favorite thing of that class is how Mr.Miles blurts out the most weirdest/ most random things during class. For example, when he stops us to fix a mistake, before we start to play he says something that would either give him confused looks or start to laugh. He also says jokes that don’t make sense and some that do. The top thing I’ve learned from band is how to get better at the clarinet. From last year I didn’t knew what I was doing. He taught me a lot. But this year I learned how to challenge myself with more difficult songs. What I will miss about band is Mr.Miles and our band. Reason why is because he is the best band teacher and I had a really good band. It didn’t matter if we were the lower 7th grade band, I just care how we work together to get through a situation.

Reading-

My favorite thing of this class was how we had people that made the class more fun. For instance, they would start saying things when talking then they go off topic. They would start to motivate us to be more confident, speak up, etc which is a good thing. The top thing I’ve learned in this class is how to be more confident. Specifically, Ms.Oshiro makes us talk about a topic for 1 minute. It is hard. When I went up there I never knew how hard it is after 30 seconds. Lastly, I will miss the projects and books we read in that class. I loved the Outsiders and made me want to read more about these kinds of books more often.

Science-

My favorite thing about Science is the games Mr.Holdener makes up. It also helps us to settle down. Especially since our class is after lunch. Also that he makes different/ creative games. The top thing I’ve learned is that science is tough, You have to do labs, essays, etc. But it also helps to prepare for next year so it will be easier for us. What I will miss from this class is getting help from the teacher with our labs and drawing.

Language Arts-

My favorite thing about this class this all the creative projects we have done. This class is the class that always makes me excited when I enter the room. I always think, “What are we going to do today? I bet it will be fun.” It always is. We also have really smart, motivating people. I love this class. They always motivate us to do things (especially dwp) The top thing I’ve learned is to be a hard worker because that how it will be later on. What I will miss about this class is everything. This class honestly impacted me so much. I’m so grateful for it. On the first day of school, when I entered this classed room, I knew i will never doubt anything. I was right.

WSH-

Last but not least my favorite thing about the last period of the school day is the major projects and teams. Reason why is because our team members and I had to work together to get a good great and pass that class so we don’t have to retake this in high school. The top thing I learned is to work hard and try my hardest to pass that class. The thing that I will miss from this class is how crazy our class is because we are the most loudest class out of all the other classes.

2nd Semester Schedule

1.Cadet Choir

2.Science

3.Math

4.Reading

5.WSH

6.Language Arts

7.Math Tools

Cadet Choir,

My favorite thing about mrs. Lewis's class was the fact that we always had a good time. she let us walk when we would do warm ups, she let us sit by our friends but at the same time we learned and we grew in our abilities. The top thing I learned throughout 2nd semester with her was that you can smile even when times are hard. we could tell when she was frustrated and done but she always smiled. she always put us before her. Something i will always miss from that class is the joy we shared in singing. Not all the class was good at singing but they all gave their best. We would make silly hand motions to the sings and look really stupid doing it but it was all in the love for songs.

Science,

cheesy jokes will always remind me of Mrs.Boyd. science always had a fun twist to it, whether it was peanuts on the floor or her daily jokes. It was a great class my favorite part of her class was the vibe. it was always extraordinary. something i learned in her class was to keep up on your toes. there was always something new everyday, a new topic, a new lab. whenever i missed a day I would need to go to her website, she wouldn't tell me what i missed. she's a funny one i would miss the cheer she had everyday and the fun we had.

Math,

Mr. harlow had so many character traits and things that i could elaborate but i won't. My favorite thing that we did in his class all year was the video day. One day in the whole year we just watched funny cat videos and stupid little things that made us laugh, it was special since it was one in 179 school days. One out of the many things I learned in Mr.harlow's class was to never give up,I am definitely not the best at math and i would give up sometimes but he always told me to try again and to go slower. That taught me that you can zoom through things in life, you need to slow down sometimes and chill. What i will miss from my 3rd period is the relationships we all had. When Mr.harlow’s wife had her baby he was gone we all were really anxious to see if everything went alright, what she looked like, what her name was and such and even before she had the baby everyone would jump at the sound of the phone ringing. Our relationships between everyone and the teacher was so sweet.

Reading,

Ms.Oshiro’s reading class was off the hook in first semester, When we started doing exciting stuff after the reading rules days it was really fun. Ms.Oshiro taught me to keep my head high and smile, she did that by smiling everyday and having a great attitude even when things weren't as planned. Exit tasks were my favorite part of the class because then we got the fun ending and we got to see the creativity of the teachers.

Washington State History,

I will never forget Mr. Tiegs, his bow tie tuesdays and his sarcasm. He could yell and he could be gentle. He was the weird on but he was the best one. He made learning history fun by reading the slow paragraphs fast and enthusiastically. My favorite part of this year in that class was either having class discussions or the group projects for our topics at the end of the year. Mr.Tiegs taught me a lot this year but he taught me without knowing it. He taught me how to be gentle and firm with my words. You would be amazed how well it works when you want someone to do something for you hah but it is a good life skill to have. You know how to do both.I will miss the love and care in that class. In the beginning of the year I wasn't sure if he was nice or not but he had us write how to pronounce our names and what we look like on the cards and he took mine and laughed and put it under the camera thingy and showed everyone my stick man. It was funny, that's when i knew he was a good teacher.he took the time to get to know us, our names and our personalities. It was nice knowing he cared. By the end of the school year he would yell “ CHRISTENSEN! “ and give me feedback or something but he was definitely the most personal teacher. To me at least.

Language Arts,

Launguage Arts is my favorite class because i love writing and i love my teacher. My favorite thing about our class is that we care about eachother and we can have fun without drama. We can joke around and have fun. Mrs.Fingarson has also taught me a lot but what i have mostly gotten from her is perseverance. To keep going although it's tough you need to keep going or you'll sink. She has a personality i can't really place but she's a go hard or go home kind of lady. I love the writing prompts we need to do and all the activities. Her class is a blast. There is a lot that i would miss in her class but mostly i will miss her. In a way she has been a help to my mental state and its like shes my daily dose of happiness. She's always smiling and always in the coolest outfits. I'm going to miss the weird jokes “ that was pretty good “and such. She made writing funner. I'm definitely going to recommend her in highschool.

Math Tools,

There's like only 6 people in that class.Ms.Krieger is a gem. She's nice and happy and smart and weird. She's cool.” lit” if you may,My favorite thing about the class is that every thursday we go to the computer lab and play moby max .yay. Not really but i like when we do missing assignments because i never have any to do. She has taught me that Smiling makes the world round. She smiles and then that makes other people smile then that makes even more people smile and then it's just beautiful. One thing i Will mis is Ms.Keiger’s laugh. And her sneezes. Wow thats what make her her, she's her own person and she knows that. I'm going to miss her good mornings and goodbyes.

My schedule for this semester is:
1.) Ms. Oshiro - reading
2.)Mr. Miles - concert choir
3.)Mr. Holdener - science
4.)Ms. Mitchell - math
5.)Mr. Tiegs - Washington state history
6.)Ms. Fingarson - Language arts
7.)Ms. Stterlee - Teachers assistant

Reading -
There is a lot of things that go on in this class. I love and loved every minute in that class. But next year I'm going to miss so many things about it. Yet I have so many favorite things to remember it by. My favorite thing about that class was I knew that i was going to have an amazing day. Even if I came into the class room late, I knew that i still had a long time to learn something from Ms. Oshiro. I learned all about hero's, story elements, and mystery elements that I just can't pick one. But my top thing i loved learning about was hero's because she showed me that anyone can be a hero. I know that she will always teaching someone something even if they already know what it is. That is one thing I'm going to miss. The thing I'm going to miss most about this class is that I wont come into the same exciting, happy, and fun class room that I come into every morning at 8:10 in the morning.

Concert Choir-
" You would not believe your," ears if I said Mr. Miles laughs at his own jokes. Mr. Miles always knows the funnest things to say during class. I love how he is always making people laugh when they are having a bad day. I know that he will always make a great teacher even when he retires. This is the first year I'm in his class and I feel that i knew him for two years. he is also teaching us all these new ways to warm up our voices. But the top thing I ever learned from him was to over pronounce the words because they can get put together and sounds really weird. He is always saying that he knows that we don't use this in our everyday life, but in choir it lets people understand the words we'e singing. But seeing that he can get emotional about songs shows me that he can do so many things. I know that I will miss singing and preforming in front of him.

Science-
Mr. Holdener is a one of a kind teacher who can teach his classes in so many ways. Some days we'll play a quick game before we start our lessen of the day, Other days we might play a game or just relax before the bell to leave the class and head to fourth period rings. That was my favorite thing about that class. We did so much in that class that I cant remember the first thing we did in that class. But there is somethings I am going to miss, such as having fun and exciting people in that class. Here are some people in that class: Jose, Noel, Cierra, Lauren, Bryson, Tyra, and Emma F. Those are some of the people I'm going to miss. Another thing about them is as soon as you walk into class you never know what they might say next. But just because that is what I'm going to miss that the most doesn't mean that it was the top thing I learned. I learned a lot in his class. Some about planets, mutations, and rocks. But my favorite thing I learned was that you need to take as many notes as you can so when you take a test or the YLA you can use your notes.

Math-
Seeing everyone is what I liked most about that class. When we did groups she would sometimes let us pick our groups. And I always try to pick people I'll work with. I wish Ms. Mitchell was at school more because when its a sub sometimes it get really confusing with the directions. Sharing about my weekend is what I'm going to miss the most. she always shares her thoughts on our weekends and then sometimes she makes it creative. Like on time we only were allowed 5 words to describe our weekend. I hope I get her husband next year for math because then we will have something in common. And maybe he does the weekend share out with his classes to.But the top thing I learned from her class was that writing in your journal helps a lot to remember things. She doesn't always tell you that you are going to needed your journal for that day , so if you think something is important then I should have wrote it down in my journal.

Washington State History-
I'm going to miss Mr. Tiegs being so sarcastic. He is funny when someone asked the same question again. I really going to miss how he always is so sarcastic when he is trying to teach something. But the thing I like the most was when he would give us a project then like a week later he would give us a due date because then you try to get it done as fast as you can because you don't know the due date. The top thing I learned from his class was that you want to have a fun time no matter what you are do during in his class period. Such as working on a poster, writing a letter, and/or working on a tri-fold board.

Language Arts-
I'm going to miss language arts the most. And I'm not just saying that because your reading it. I always have fun even when it is just a testing day. You always bring so much enthusiasm to the class. Every person in that class is happy to be in that class. I'm really going to miss this class the most. I try my best to get all the homework done on time and when it is and essay, letter, or article I try to get it done Two Days early so that I don't have to stress about it when I have more and more homework each day. The thing that made me so excited to come to class was knowing that I'm going to learn something amazing even if it is just review. The top thing I learned most in this class was how to be creative. When I first came to this class i didn't know what to expect. But I came to realize that you are my favorite teacher and it sucks that I wont be here next year to be with you. I loved seeing that you are in class today and knowing that you do so much for us. I know that you are and forever will be the best teacher. Thank you for an awesome year at Surprise Lake Middle School.

Teachers Assistant-
There is not much I do for being a TA, so I'll get right to the point. Me favorite thing about that class is that if she doesn't have anything for me to do I can work on my homework. The thing I'm going to miss is seeing my grades go up because I get a great grade on me homework. The top thing I learned in the is class was how to grade test.

P.E.

Reading-
Favorite Thing About Class-
The positive attitude and cheerfulness of this class always brings me to my feet. I love how everyone is friendly which makes it easy to make new friends every day!
Top Thing Learned-
I think that the three ways of writing an essay were most important because it is something we are going to use a lot of in our other years of schooling. This gives us a boost and a huge advantage when it comes to getting good grades.
Something I'll Miss-
Something I'll miss about this class is the stuffed pandas because they are adorable decorations to the class. Plus, they make the classroom a more positive and safe place to be.

Science-
Favorite Thing About Class-
I loved taking part in the labs that we got to do. I had many favorites like the Mutations Lab with the peanuts. That was especially fun because we got to eat food in funny different ways.
Top Thing Learned-
The most important topic we learned about to me was Genetics. I absolutely adore this topic. I find everything about the human body fascinating as well as many other aspects when it comes to studying the evolution and make up of different organisms.
Something I'll Miss-
I'll miss seeing my dear friends in that particular class. I've tried to gather as many friends as I could and we all have fun when we're together. I enjoy the trouble we get into when we have ridiculously odd situations occur.

TA-
Favorite Thing About Class-
I love bossing the 6th graders around. This makes me feel like a more important person than I sometimes feel. This also gives me the advantage of teasing the other younger students. But, this class is also pretty fun with it's own share of ups and downs.
Top Thing Learned-
I've learned how to get 6th grader's attention. Which is by being loud or addressing them by their names which helps a lot when you're trying to start a lesson of some sort.
Somthing I'll Miss-
I'll miss Mr. Scott because he is one of my most favorite teacher who always encouraged me and told me how great I am. I could never thank him enough for everything he's helped me with. It has been an absolute pleasure to be a TA for him this year. With all of my heart I will miss him.

Math-
Favorite Thing About class-
Some of the people were extremely amusing when we were all having a good time. This was what made class the most interesting. For example, Brandon Shirts or Parker Robinson. They were always in a mess of some sort where no one could understand what was going on.
Top Thing Learned-
Percentages was something I've always struggled with as a 6th grader. But this year it has been a breeze. Now, I have no trouble with the help of Mr.Harlows helpful advice and gentle guide.
Something I'll Miss-
I will definitely miss Mr. Harlow with his calming tone and helpful ways. I appreciated so much that he did for us while recieving another child throught this year. He was always understanding and was easy to get along with.

Washington State History-
Favorite Thing About Class-
I love how much fun we have in that class. Even with so many projects to worry about I've always been able to blow off steam in this particular class. This class was one of my favorite classes with so many fun classmates and a pretty cool teacher (Mr. Tiegs).
Top Thing Learned-
Is how to interpret sarcasm. Mr. Tiegs was always using sarcastic tones with us and we honestly enjoyed his ways. I honestly, found it a way to shake up class a little bit. This was always one of his best qualities as well.
Something I'll Miss-
I'll miss Mr. Tiegs sarcasm. This is something I've grown used to and will never forget from a teacher. I know from this moment there is no teacher close to Mr. Tieg's personality. I don't think it was what Mr. Tiegs taught that made this class fun, but it was how he taught it. I believe that is what really makes a class fun.

Language Arts-
Favorite Thing About Class-
I love the creativity of this class. It has inspired me to do things that I thought I was never capable of. This was what motivated me to do things I beleived I was terrible at. But, it turns out I was wrong. Which I'm glad I am wrong.
Top Thing Learned-
I learned motivation, this is something I strongly believe in as a key to a good life. I've always had a lack of motivation until I met Ms. Fingarson. Now, I wish I had more time to make projects even better than we are intended to.
Somethign I'll Miss-
I'll miss everything about this class. From the stuffed animals to the classmates that made this class dear to me. I am so glad I was chosen to attend this class from the start of the school year. I have no regrets in anything about this class. Except, that I wish I wasn't absent for those few days I was gone. I appreciate everything about this class that has taught me motivation, patience, and honesty. "Intelligence without endurance, is like a bird without wings." This quote is something that I believe this class is the best at teaching.

P.E.-
Favorite Thing About Class-
I love the ever constantly changing games that we've played. Like badminton, volleyball, and soccer. This class I am glad to have every day for my health as well as to keep me motviated and competitive for real life.
Top Thing Learned-
I learned a game called Speedway, which I am unfamiliar with. But something else would be the quality of teamwork. This class requires this almost every day. This quality is extremely important to being successful in life and I wish everyone can acquire this as soon as possible.
Something I'll Miss-
I'll miss Mr. Darnielle and Ms. Ardnt these were the teachers that taught me to keep quiet when it's best and to speak up when needed. Their strict teaching contributed to my health as well as my confidence in front of others.

*Overall, I am forever in debt to every single one these teachers and can never repay for everything they've given me. All I can do is, to acquire everythign they've taught me to real life. And I appreciate everything you have done for me.*

Art
WSH
P.E.
Math
Science
Language arts
Reading

Art
My favorite thing about art is that we are aloud to sit anywhere that we want to in the class room. Something that I learned in art is an important time era the Harlem Renaissance which was when equal rights were being fought for. Some thing that I will miss about this class is being able to draw I think that I was learning and starting to become a pretty good artist.

WSH
My favorite part of this class was Mr. Tiegs's sarcasm. This was funny to listen to because half the class would not know that he is being sarcastic or not I remember one day he said gullible is written on the ceiling and half the class looked up at the ceiling. The thing that I learned the most about is Paul Allen. This was my Washington State History Fair topic which I enjoyed doing because of the fact that Paul Allen owns 3 professional sports teams. I overall really enjoyed doing the Washington State History project and I liked learning about others topics. What I will miss about this class is Mr. Tiegs and his personality. He is a really funny and sarcastic person which makes it enjoyable to be in his class.

P.E.
My favorite part of this class is that we get to run around and play games outside. The most important thing that I learned in this class is the value of knowing what you are eating because this can affect what your health is and can increase the chance of accidents such as heart attacks. Something that I will miss about this class is being able to go outside and playing game such as kick ball with my friends.

Math
My favorite part of the class was how relaxed Mr. Harlow is. He let us sit where ever we want and made a game for almost all the units that we did. He also would read us crazy news stories from books and websites he had or found. Something that I learned that I think will benefit me the most in real life is how to manage money. This will help when I want to buy a car or house and I think this is an important thing to know. The thing that I will miss the most about Mr. Harlow's class is his teaching style he would teach us the topic for the first half of class and for the second part of the class we got to do the worksheet so we had no homework.

Science
My favorite part of science is doing the labs. I really enjoyed the lab part of science because we got to experiment with different scenarios and see how things affect each other. The most important thing I learned this year in science is how the human body can be affected be diseases such as if your family has a history of getting cancer you have a higher risk of getting cancer. What I will miss the most about this class is how we little games before class started.

Language Arts
My favorite part of language arts is being able to use pillows every day because it made my seat softer to sit on. The most important thing that I learned this year is how to write an essay because when your writing you need to include all parts and before this year I could not name half of the words that I now know that are needed to write an essay. The thing that I will miss the most about this class is the encouragement to turn in assignments especially DWP.

Reading
My favorite part of reading was all the projects especially shark tank because we got to create our own invention. The most important thing that I learned this year our important qualities because you won't always have to know how to write in IQIA but you should always be a kind person to others. The thing that I will miss the most about this class the pandas because they were just fun to have in the class.

Reading

Science-
My favorite thing about this class was doing the labs and experimenting things, and not only that but we get the privilege to work with partners. The top thing that I learned the most in this class was about the nature vs. nurturer topic, I learned that many things have different reasons why something can either be more towards the nature side which is about the environment or be towards the nurturer side which is genes. I will be missing Mr. Holdener because he was always there for us and always be ready to teach us a new topic. He is also willing to put in all his effort, time, and money if necessary in order to do labs and other stuff.

Concert Choir-
My favorite thing about this class was being able to learn so many new things about music like half-notes, decrescendo, and other music related things like what a treble clef is. The top thing that I learned from this class is when singing high notes we should always take a huge deep breath so you can support your voice to sing higher and so that we don't not run out of air so fast. I will be missing Mr. Miles also because he has a great sense of humor and always knows how to make us smile even when we may be tired and all our energy is super low just like a phone battery that is on 1%.

Math-

My favorite thing about this class are my classmates, because they are just super funny and I laugh so hard I'm basically wheezing sometimes thanks too...(Adeline and Alexandra :D ) Without them things can sometimes get boring very quickly. The top thing that I learned from this class was from the life project because it taught and allowed me to review some words like withdrawal, deposit, and etc. I will surely miss Adeline from this class because I will not get to see her as much as I used to be able to.

WSH-
My favorite thing about this class is that Mr. Tiegs is always so sarcastic. Even when we are all laughing he knows how to get us right back on task. The top thing in this class is the Kennewick Man. I will miss Mr. Tiegs because I've had him for 2 years from 6th grade to my 7th grade year.

Leadership-
My favorite thing about this class is that we were able to learn how to become a better leader and really get to help out people that were in need of our help. The top thing I learned from this class is that as a leader we should be acting like the leaders not be the opposite of what a leader is. I will miss everyone from this class because they always supported me and each other, we got to really know each other a lot better, and we made memories.

Language Arts-
My favorite thing about this class is basically everything. From DWP to classmates to my teacher and everything we do! DWP really made me motivated to do my best and fill out the questions or statements specifically in order to have a good grade and all that. My classmates are basically like a part of my family because we are always encouraging each other, motivating each other, helping each other and so many more things we do with each other in class. The top thing that I learned in the class is that always put in every single effort and best quality to every single little thing you do in class, because we may take a pop quiz, we may take notes on something, and so many more important things we may have to do. I will miss Mrs. Fingarson because she taught us so much thing, she had so many fun activities we could do, and she made so much memories with us.

Reading-
My favorite thing about this class is that Ms. Oshiro gave us this privilege in holding pandas in her classroom. The top thing that I learned was to never turn in late work or else you get docked 50 points from the original score you could have gotten in the first place. I will miss the pandas and Ms. Oshiro because I will be not seeing them next year.

My favorite thing about the class was POTD because she has interesting pictures every day and most of the time they are cool. The top thing I've learned was mostly public speaking because she made us present every time when we had a project of some sort. The thing I would miss about the class is her because she was the first nicest teacher I've met and the first teacher to help me.

WSH:
My second period is WSH with Mr.Tiegs. My favorite thing about the class was his sarcasticness because it is really funny when he acts sarcastic. The top thing I've learned in the class is mostly pop culture because there are things I don't now until now. The thing I will miss about this class is his sarcasm because it's really that funny and he acts stupid when he does it.

Science:
My third period is science with Mrs.Boyd. My favorite thing about the class is her jokes because she always has jokes ready and prepared for the class. The top thing I've learned in the class was mostly genetics and heredity because these are the first things I've never learned in my life. The thing I will miss about this class is her jokes because they are soo horrible it's funny.

Concert band:
My fourth period is Concert band with Mr.Miles. My favorite thing about this class is the random things that happen during class when we are rehearsing. The top thing I've learned is never let a dog bark at you all night because he always rambles about his dog sometimes. The thing I will miss about this class is the challenging songs he has given us.

Leadership:
My fifth period is leadership with Mr.Kratzig. My favorite thing about this class is when we do fun activities to build our leadership skills. The top thing I've learned in this class is mostly being a good leader for the school. The thing I will miss about this class is the weird things that have happened because believe me there were lots of weird ones but they were okay still and they were funny I've to admit.

Language arts:
My sixth period class is language arts with Mrs.Fingarson. My favorite thing about this class is the challenging things we do during class like a random pop quiz or something. The top thing I've learned is mostly argumentive essay because we have worked on this subject for quite a while. The thing I will miss about this class is the motivation for rewards like when we get tallies for getting 100% on DWP.

Math 3:
My seventh period is math 3 with Mr.Harlow. My favorite thing about the class is that Mr.Harlow is always calm and I can count on him on whatever he does with the class. The top thing I've learned in this class is mostly things I don't now like angles on parallel lines or something. The thing will miss about this class is mostly Mr.Harlow being the nicest teacher with a sense of humor.

1)Science
2) Concert Choir
3) WSH
4) Math 3
5) Tech
6) ELA
7) Reading

1)Science
Science was pretty fun. Although, I do feel like we were always talking, I enjoyed all my classmates. They were definitely my favorite thing in there. I had so many friends, that partners on projects and games for more fun, because the people made it enjoyable. However, I truly enjoyed learning new things too. I learned so many things. What I understand most was definitely the animals unit. We learned about sexual and asexual reproduction, Meiosis and mitosis, natural selection, adaption and nature versus nurture . I did tell you so much about all of these things. In the unit we also earlier discussed cloning. I feel I will really miss the fun nature of the class and the way the teacher made it OK to interact while we worked.

2) Choir
Choir was one of my favorite classes. I love to sing, and my classmates were all loving and amazing. Mr. Miles was my favorite part of the class. He always shows appreciation for me. He said I thought like a choir teacher, let me teach the class on multiple occasions, and even had me go to honor choir, which was so much fun. A lot of what I learned this year was built on to what we learned last year. Such as vowel shaping, better dynamics ,and articulation. We need these things to be a better singer, and in in the end, I happy to have expanded on these. I also agree lot as a student, I grew with my smart music tests, sight reading, the way I behaved, and how seriously I took it. The thing I'll miss most about this class is Mr. Mile's support. He always told us that he loved us, and how much that we meant to him. He also would encourage us so well I couldn't imagine any other choir teacher better than Mr. Miles. I'll miss my beautiful choir family with all my heart. We have been through so much.

3) WSH
Washington State history was one of the more outspoken classes. What I really enjoyed about this class was that we could say whatever was on or mind. Because Mr. Tiegs has such a different personality, so sarcastic in a fun way, it really made the class way more enjoyable. I really enjoy our teachers attitude to relearn things and teaching. That was probably my most favorite thing about this class. His Sarcastic nature is what we needed to brighten the class, it made it a lot more fun because we were able to make jokes. I also enjoyed how He
never minded how much I raise my hand and how many questions I asked I always love to participate in that class. Something I learned, well I learned a lot but something that I did learn was all about the Native Americans and native Indians. I learned all about the rights, and about Kennewick man, I learned all about how they were treated, how they were changed, about the culture, and who they were , and are today. What I miss most about this classroom is the open-minded set that we had. Some teachers next year may be a little bit more strict and not let us speak her mind as much, but Mr. Tiegs always made sure that we had her opinion in there, and you always make sure that we set it respectfully. Plus you always let me see my jokes and he only said his, but mine were better .

4)Math
What I enjoyed about math was that we could take any notes. We didn't just have to copy the notes. We could copy what we neede. Our class was always there to help us out if we were struggling. Plus in a class with so many smart people it's really nice for people for you and all you do with your math work. It's really nice to have supportive people around. Plus people who will always talk to you but also get the work done at the same time. Some things I learned were independence. Well we did have many classmates around us, working with us, we had to learn how to work it out, because Mr. Harlow was a busy man and graded papers all day and our class was an independent type of work class . Where you're free to do whatever you wanted or needed. You had to keep in mind get any homework school work or you'll have homework. If our friends want to talk and they could talk but I had to learn to get my work done . With gymnastics I didn't have any time to waste.I Think the thing I'll miss the most is being able to choose your surroundings. We got to choose who we sat next to, I think it doesn't seem like such a big deal, but the reason I think I enjoyed it so much was because those were the people we were going to be working with. It's not the same with language arts where everyone is so close we know everyone in that class. In this class. Much indeed, it was independent, so we didn't exactly get to know everyone, which is fine , choosing your seat wasn't such a bad thing, in fact it was a good thing. Even if we would've had assigned seats, we worked good that year and it worked for us the whole year .

5) Tech
Tech Was an OK class, I didn't enjoy it that much at first, but I learned to like it because of the people around me. Last year I did band ,but this year quit because of gymnastics, so I never had a chance to do tech one so of course I had to take one this year. It was really annoying at first because it made me bored. I knew that I probably wouldn't use any of the stuff in my later life. However , I enjoyed how much effort Mr. Garrett put into learning my name. At first he didn't really care and he always forgot it, but now he's like a pro and he knows my name which I enjoy because when people know my name even better when I know how to spell it makes me the happiest person ever. Some things I learned in this class and the biggest thing in fact was had a program robot, building it was the easy part programming it was easy too, but was all the little complications that we had to fix that on the way. What I miss about this class is being able to be free range. When you needed help we can really do what we wanted as long as we were being responsible and working.

6) Language Arts
This class is by far my favorite class. I'm not just saying that because I know you're going to read it. I really did enjoy this class. You, Mrs.Fingarson are the most amazing teacher that I've ever had. You're amazing facial Expressions and great personality made the class so comfortable. Without a doubt you could always put a smile on my face and you could make me laugh nonstop. However I loved you serious side too because you know that this is school and we had to get work done, but that it could also be fun. You always put twist on fun projects. We also played amazing games like attack around the world, and more. The things that I miss most about this class basically everything. Because my classmates are the most amazing people I have ever met my life. Some of them are new to the school. I probably wouldn't of even taken the time to get to know some of them, which is sad, but just from his class you can truly see how people who you would never see as being your friends could turn out to be really close friends. Without a doubt everyone in this class is amazing I wouldn't trade anyone in this class for anyone else even if I would want another friend here . this cup the class is perfect the way it is. The change from 1st to 2nd semester was hard to grow as a class with the new people and except them into six Period. I'll never forget encouraging people with Alexandra to do their DWP. Together we made a , poem, videos, and DM where we probably will still text on it for a while. We don't just use it for DWP and that's what it's for . However, we text that everything that we need because were always there for her classmates emotionally and physically. I think the thing that I understood this year in your class was respect and priorities. You showed me how to see the good in others when most people miss it. You showed me how to think outside of the box, you showed me how to make things fun when they particularly weren't . You made life easier, you made language arts even more enjoyable. With priorities. You know I struggled from Begginging to end. In my reflections, I always expressed this to you. I finally think I understand, I've never had a teacher that made me want to work this hard. All my work was for you. I will never forget this class because everything that you had to offer was amazing and unfortunately I'm not going to Columbia so I won't have you again, at FHS. I can tell you love your job, and that's what I look for some new cares. You care so much, and we can all tell. Every single thing of your class, from the first day of school to the last, it will be my favorite thing that I've ever done. . The Washington State history fair was amazing, sorry about not sending me the photos of Jacob I'll still try and get that by the last week of school so you can put them up. I'll never forget all of our inside jokes. Jacob. Carlos Bass. Alexa and Doughnuts. So many more. It truly breaks my heart to say this class is over. I'll never forget you, I'll never forget my classmates and I will never forget the fun we have. I hope you will never ever forget me Mrs. Fingarson, I really do love you. I'm just so happy that I can look back on the year and be able to say, "That was pretty good."

7) Reading
Reading is the last class of the day. As always my least favorite class, because tats when the school days over. However this class is really fun, Mr. Oshiro is just it's the nicest lady ever. She's understanding she's great and I love the way she teaches. She is strong headed and you can tell she's independent , she's also very reliable and has a big heart. My favorite part about this class is the way that me and my classmates were together . Plus the pandas. Something I learned in this class was responsibility. I learned this in your class too. We have had had many big at home projects in Mrs. Oshiro's class, and while it made many people upset to only get a day to finish, it taught responsibility. If it's one day late it's 50% which is an F. It's worth it to stay up all night working on a project to get it done because you know that it is more important. Something I love about this about this class is Mrs. Oshiro's personality (like you :))). She always make me laugh when she's not trying . She's just the perfect teacher to end the day with. A casual, fun ,person always ready to smile.

Mr.Harlow most of the time didn't get mad when we did something wrong or when we were off task. Top thing I learned was learning to be more nice. I used to think I was better than everyone. But now I learned to be more kind to people and now I try to make people laugh a lot more. Something in the class that i will miss is my friends in that class. My friends helped me enjoy math more.

PE:
My favorite thing about PE is how we got to play a lot of sports. I love sports so PE was very fun for me this year. Although PE had us do a lot of unrelated sports things this year it was still fun. Top thing I learned in PE was to be more open. A lot of the people i didn't like at the beginning of the school year im friends with now. Something i'll miss about the class is how lit it was. The class was really fun and the people in the class were fun to be around.

Science:
My favorite thing in this class was the labs we did. Mostly the ones that included food. Something I learned in the class is how the body works and things about the earth. Something I will miss in the class is what my friends and I did in that class. We messed around a lot and Mrs.Boyd was fine with it. Also Mrs.Boyd was a very funny teacher and she also was fun to be around.

WSH:
My favorite thing in WSH was the projects. We had fun and creative projects that were fun to do Something i learned in that class was how to deal with fake friends. Something i'll miss in that class is my real friends.

Art:
My favorite thing in Art was being with my friends. Since the teacher was really strict I had to try to have fun while still doing my work.Something I learned in that class was art deco and how its almost everywhere. Something i'll miss about that class is how fun it was even though I got in trouble for having fun.

Language Arts:
My favorite thing in this class was how fun this class was. At the beginning of the year I didn't like the class because I didn't know anyone. But I became more comfortable with the class. Something i'll miss about the class is the students and Mrs.Fingarson because that's what made the class the best class i have ever had.

Reading:
My favorite thing in this class was how funny Ms.Oshiro was. Something I learned in this class was to always double check for homework each night because in the later grades most teachers won’t let you turn in late assignments and if you forget about it, you never really want to get up early to do it or you get a bad grade on it. One thing that I will definitely miss about this class is having Ms. Oshiro as a teacher and all of the pandas. I will miss these things because after being in that class a whole school year has made me like pandas and they are so cute. And I’ll miss Ms. Oshiro because I think it’s cool that I was one of her first students at SLMS and because she is actually a pretty good teacher.

Library Aid:

My favorite thing about this class was that I got to have a friend with me instead of being all alone because then it would be boring. Something I learned in this class was many more responsibilities. Through second semester; each day in second period I would have homework from the previous night that I didn’t do and it was due that day. Which shows me I wasn’t that responsible with my homework after school. Something that i will miss about this period will be having some freedom because after we put the paper in the machines and put away a few book, we got to just hang out and talk and talk with the other TA’s that came downstairs.

Science:

My favorite thing about this science class was that every day, Mr. Holdener would let us hang out and talk with our friends at the end of class about five minutes before the bell rang. One thing that I learned from this class was that I and other students really need to start listening at all times because some times after Mr. Holdener told the class the instructions, someone would ask a question that was about what we had to do and that stresses out the teachers. One thing I’ll miss about this class is everyone that was in it because a few of my friends were in that class and people that I didn’t usually talk to in the beginning of the year that I started talking to became good friends with them.

WSH:

My favorite thing about this class was the time we had before the bell rang after class, which is when we got to talk to our friends and socialize, which is one of my favorite things to do. One thing that I learned in this class was to be quiet when others are talking. This is my answer because this class was very talkative and there were times when I couldn’t hear Mr. Tiegs or whoever was talking. But sometimes it was me who was talking, so it’s something I need to work on too. One thing I’ll miss about this class, again, is all of the people that are in that class because a few of my best friends are in that class and because one person in that class wasn’t really my friend at the beginning of the year but she is now my closest friend and we hang out every weekend, so being in this class gave me the oppurtunity to me at least ten new friends.

Leadership:

My favorite thing about this class was we had lots of freedom. For example, we got freedom to have both lunches for a few weeks, which was awesome because I have friends in both lunches. One thing that I learned from this class was many, many more responsibilities. One responsibility that I learned was to get everything done on time because for many projects and things we did in that class had deadlines and we had to be working every minute. One thing that I will miss the most from this class is Mr. Kratzig and everyone else who is in that class because in the beginning of the year, many of them weren’t my friends but now they are really good friends of mine.

Language Arts:

My favorite thing about this class was “That’s pretty good!” That was my favorite because after saying it for a while, we turned it into the dab and I always crack up when someone does it or says it or I do it. One thing I learned from this class is that even if we aren’t related by blood, we are still a family. I learned this just the other day because Carson felt like apart of my family after last year and after that happened, everyone in the class this year feel like my family and if anything happened to them I will be really, really sad. One thing that i will miss next year is Ms. Fingarson. Having her for both 6th and 7th grade is so awesome and after these two years she feels like apart of my family the most. I really hope I have her in High School.

Math:

My favorite thing about this class was that we got to sit anywhere we wanted to. I really liked that because then I got to sit where I could see the board the best and sit by my friends. One thing that I learned from this class was to keep quiet even if we were aloud to talk, don’t talk loud. I learned this because after a while of being able to talk we would start yelling across the room and we have a lot of loud people in this class. And Mr. Harlow would have to tell us to be quiet. One thing I will miss from this class are my new friends. In the beginning of the year, I only had one friend in that class but now I have about five to ten and most of those people are people I never really talked to much but now I do.

Schedule:

P.E

Math

Tech

WSH

Reading

Language Arts

Science

P.E-

My favorite thing about this class is when we get to play kickball or cat and mouse. I really like those games because they get my energy up and it makes me really competitive and it encourages me to help other people that may not understand it that well. When someone is struggling and I can tell I can help them out because I understand what we are doing so I can help them out. The top thing that I learned is the background of volleyball I knew how to do everything else they had told us about. But when they said that we were going to go over the background of volleyball I knew that I was going to learn something new. Something that I’ll miss about that class is how competitive the entire class is. Every time we have a fitness test to do everyone always beats the score they got last time or they get the same score. Sometimes they will even go a lot higher than the score they got last time because they are trying to beat their friends score.

Math-

My favorite thing about this class is that there isn’t that much homework given out. I mean sometimes there is homework that we have to do but I always finish what we have to do in class. Math is just a place where I can focus and get work done. I love Math it is my favorite subject so that’s why I think I get my things done early because I am focused and determined that I will finish what we have to do. The top thing I learned is is how to manage money. I think this thing is very important in our grown up lives. We need to know how to budget what we have and we need to save up some money for extra things we need to do. I think this will benefit us in the future because instead of having to learn about this when we are a lot older and things might be a little confusing because you forgot what you have learned it will just make our lives easier in the future. Something that I will miss about this class is how relaxed Mr.Harlow is. He is very chill and a nice guy. He doesn’t yell at kids when some kids are talking over him he just politely tells them to quiet down and then the kids do because it’s normally when we are taking notes or when it gets a little loud in the classroom.

Tech-

My favorite thing about this class is how we get to work with robots. When I was in 6th grade we didn’t get to work with robots we just worked on the computers. Now Mr.Garrett has changed thing up to where we get to work with robots and he gives us something to do specifically and we have to make our robot do what he wants us to have it do but it's a lot more challenging than it sounds so it is really fun. The top thing that I have learned is how to turn a certain number into rotations. At first I thought this was hard but then I released that is wasn’t hard it was actually easy. I feel like this can help me in my future class schools. Which is nice because some people didn’t have tech so they didn't learn these skills but I have. Something that I will miss about his class is how much me and Skyler talk in that class. We talk because we a partners and also because we are close friends but we have been getting closer friends ever since me and her have had that class together. Tech has brought us closer and it also helped us with that class because Skyler and I always work really hard and we both get everything that we have to do and we are really good partners because we get things done 3 days before they’re due and we have extra time to spend on working on homework that we have which is nice.

WSH-

My favorite thing about this class is how sarcastic Mr.Tiegs is. Most of the time when he is being sarcastic I can tell but others can’t and I don’t know how they can’t tell because it is obvious that he is being sarcastic. Some things that he is just joking about are actually really funny and I would just be laughing so hard in my chair. The top thing I learned is Costco. This was my wsh project and I learned a lot of things from researching it and also Mr.Tiegs help us with a couple of things and he told us something that we couldn’t find looking up which was nice because we wouldn’t of known that until he had told us about that. Something that I will miss about this class is when someone is chewing gum he won’t just straight up tell you that you have to go spit out your gum he will go along with what you’re doing and when he is saying something he will somehow involve a way to tell them to go spit it out and sometimes what he is saying and then tells them to go spit it out it kind of flows together so it sounds like he was going to say that in the first place.

Reading-

My favorite thing about his class is how much I can share out. This class I think is the only class where I am always raising my hand to answer things and I am always paying attention and being involved with class discussions. I think when we discuss things and we have to answer questions I am always raising my had to share and I don't know why it is different in that class compared to my other classes. The top thing that I have learned about this class is responsibility. I have notice that Ms.Oshiro has high standards on homework. Sometimes we only have one day to do our homework and she doesn’t accept late work on some things on homework which means that I have to be responsible and make sure that I get what I have to do for her class done so I don't have a bad grade in her class. Something that I will miss about this class is how funny everyone in the class is. Sometimes I will just be dying of laughter because somethings was so funny and I have made a lot of funny memories in that class. For example, me and my table group were sitting in the library and Mazie was sitting there and we did something and she made this weird laugh so i tried to copy what she did and I sounded like a dinosaur it was so funny I was laughing so hard. That is what I am going to miss the most, laughing really hard in this class.

Language Arts-

My favorite thing about this class is pretty much everything. I love this class so much. It is always so much fun in this class. When we have to do something serious Ms.Fingarson always makes a way to make it fun because she doesn’t like it when we have to do something boring and it is just always a fun place to go to. Nobody in this class judges anyone even when we don’t get 100% on dwp nobody is yelling at the person who didn't do it. They encourage everyone to do it and if we don’t get 100% nobody just gives up they keep trying and they will hopefully get it the next week. Everyone in this class is so nice to everyone and they never disrespect anyone and that is a good thing to have. When someone is having an off day people go up to them and make them happy usually. When I am sad and I walk into that class it just brightens up my day and I am happy and smiling in that class and I have a better day after that. The top thing I learned from this class is dedication. The entire class is so dedicated to this class people get their homework done and everyone pays attention to the teacher we never talk over her when she is trying to explain something. When it is supposed to be quiet everyone is quiet and try to get there work done and is engaged on either what Ms.Fingarson is teaching or what she gave us to do or when we have to write something like a story for example. People try to write fast because sometimes people write a lot of things so they need a little extra time to make sure that what they’ve written is good and it is very detailed. Things that I will miss about this class is so many things. I will miss everyone in this class. I know everyone and I usually talk to a few people and nobody is left out and it someone seems like they are someone get them involved. Everyone in this class is so creative. Somethings that I would never think someone would teach is what someone is teaching and they make it unique and have a little twist on it and it is normally really fun to see what the students come up with. For instance, when Caleb was teaching I thought that he was only going to read off of his slides and then give us a test but he brought in cupcakes with a whole bunch of things that we could decorate them with and he added a little competition to it which made everyone engaged in what he was teaching us and that made his activity really fun. I have been sharing out a lot more and at the beginning I was nervous but now I am not. I have had many hilarious memories in this class. Like what Tyra says. “That was pretty good.” I just crack up laughing when she says that because is really funny. I have many more memories but that will cause me to write a lot because I have so many good memories about this class. I am very said that I have to leave this class because I really do love this class I wish that everyone in this class and Ms.Fingarson can just keep teaching us as we get older because I don’t want to leave this class but I sadly have to and I am really going to miss this class a lot.

Science-

My favorite thing about this class is how much time he gives us to do somethings. He gives us time in class and time outsides of school. Usually he gives us about a week to do something which is really fair because sometimes it isn’t even something hard to do and he still gives us a week to do it. The top thing I learned is that scientists still don’t have an answer if nature or nurture affects people more. I personally think that nature does but there are somethings that are hard to decide if it is either on the nature or nurture side. But I would think that they would have a answer for that but they do not. What I would miss about this class is they people that are in it because they have good things that they share out and sometimes it helps me elaborate off of what they said if we have to share out. Sometimes when Mr.Holdener doesn’t really explain something well I will ask someone and they help me understand it and then I get my work done.

1: science, Holdener

2:concert choir, Miles

3: math, Krieger

4: Washington state history, Jobe

5: reading, Oshiro

6: languge Arts, Fingarson

7: TA, Fingarson

Science-

My favorite thing about science is the labs. They are so creative and engaging. Such as the UV bead lab, bird beak lab, mutations lab, etc. I was engaged and was very entertained. The top thing I learned is that there is more to the world then just people animals etc. Some things I didn't know the background of but know i do. Now I can look at certain things and know the background info about that certain thing. The thing i will miss the most about this class is the people in it. Everyday, everyone came in excited and happy to learn. The first day of school nobody volunteered and now almost everyone does. This class has really brought us closer together as a family.

Concert Choir-

My favorite thing about choir is the concerts. They are so fun. I love performing. The songs are beautiful and make people have emotions. When we perform we do something to make it special. The way we sound even touches me. Actually this upcoming concert we are dedicating to carson the one that recently passed. The top thing I learned is that you need to stay focused to succeed. This is because in the beginning of the year we were really rowdy and our concert was good but not great. As we get closer to the end of the year we are sounding better each time. The thing I will miss the most is the teacher. He has a good personality and good jokes. He also tells us about his life.

Math-

My favorite thing about math is the projects. They are super engaging and help in real life. I by far like the life project even though it's the last I still by far like it the most. Even though at first it was really awkward, but then i got into it and it really has a good lesson. Get it it, a life lesson hahahahhaha. Anyways. It shows us how much responsibility we need to have when we are older. It really kinda makes me stress for the future but i know it will be fine If i tell myself that. The top thing I learned is that when we start being silly and goofing off we need to get right back on task. If you know or have ms. Krieger then you know she has a great personality and willing to just be herself and make people laugh. She does have a side where we got off task and then we need to quickly get together to finish what we started. The thing i will miss the most is ms.krieger's personality. She always makes us laugh and sometimes her jokes are so not eeeeekkk well ya but it makes us laugh.

Washington State History-

My favorite thing about WSH was learning about Washington. I know this was obvious but it's true. I really like learning the history and background info about it. I got some info I never even knew about. The top thing I learned was that keep the state clean because many homes and things get changed if you treat them wrong. The thing I will miss the most is the teacher. He let was doing pretty much anything. We got to listen to music and sit next to friends. He also taught us the things we needed to know right and not confusing.

Reading-

My favorite thing about about reading is ms.Oshiro. She always has a smile and makes us laugh. Well me anyways. She is so pretty and funny. She makes me excited to be in her class. I am most excited for her to leave but that's just the way it goes. She's a teacher I will definitely miss. But I know she will successful either way and I wish her the best wherever life takes her. The top thing I learned was to be you. She always is being herself and it just makes me want to be me. Like just on tuesday we were laughing together at herself. She's just so positive and shows me many lessons that I can't explain. The thing I will miss the most is the same as what my favorite thing. She's just so incredible words can't describe.

Language Arts-

My favorite thing about this class is ms.Fingarson. She's so funny and beautiful. She makes things fun and enjoyable for everyone. She always tries her best and does a good job. You can tell how much her students really do mean to her. It really come out when the passing of Carson happened. She stays positive through tough times and always is happy to teach which makes me happy to learn. The top thing I learned was to stay strong through rough times. Not trying to make anyone sad but when the news came out the Carson had past everyone was in tears. I cried the whole 2nd period and needs to step out. He was close to me and my family so it hurt. I even saw him saturday. She had to deal with it too. She showed and engorged me to stay strong. It's hard to stay strong but i'm doing it because of her. The thing I will miss the most is her encouraging attitude. She made me want to work and do my best. Her class is by far my favorite. I will miss her alot and I mean a lot but I will stay in touch with her through email.

TA-

My favorite thing about being a TA is helping out the teacher. I love to help others and do them a favor. That's just who I am .It's fun and it's an amazing feeling to help out and teacher and do them a favor. The top thing I learned was how to make coffee. The first day me and Lauren were asked to make coffee we heard the instructions wrong and just did it how we thought made snes. But then when we handed it to her she looked like we did something wrong. Then the next time we did it she re-told us how to do it. It was funny hahahahaha. The thing I will miss the most is not being able to do my homework . Hse never really had anything for us to do so we just did homework and got a lot accomplished. At Least i got the opportunity to help.

I loved how you got to hold the pandas during class. I love Penelope and Jerald the best. I love how Ms.Oshiro’s class has like a mascot, which is the pandas, I think that’s really cute. The top thing I learned in reading this year is that by having a positive attitude, you can make anything fun! This class was so much fun for me because all the people in this class had a positive attitude. I will miss so much about this class, but the top thing I’ll miss is the teacher, Ms.Oshiro. I love Ms.Oshiro so much, she makes me laugh and she’s so kind. It makes me so sad that she’s not going to be teaching in the Fife school district next year. I’ll miss her so much. All in all, my 1st period class was amazing!

Science with Mrs.Boyd:

My favorite thing about this class was playing jeopardy. I always looked forward to tests because I knew we would be playing jeopardy before to review. I think jeopardy is really fun and I think more teachers should play it to review. The top thing I learned in science is that science isn’t actually that boring. I used to always hate science because it always made me fall asleep, but in Mrs.Boyd’s class we do so many fun experiments and I actually really started enjoying science. The biggest thing I’ll miss about science is Ms.Boyd’s daily jokes. They were always so cheesey but they always made me laugh.

Math with Mr.Harlow:

My favorite thing about this class was the Life project! It was so so soooo much fun and I had an amazing roommate. My roommate was Adeline and it was really cool doing a project with her. The top thing I learned in this class is how to be responsible. Some people in this class would miss behave a ton and I just had to take a chill pill and be responsible and not scream my head off at them. The biggest thing I’ll miss about this class is definitely the people in it. Especially Ayla, and Rhean, and Abrianna, and Abigail and Adeline. Oh, I’m going to miss Adeline so very much since she’s moving. All the amazing friends that I’ve made in math has really impacted my life greatly.

Concert Band with Mr.Miles:

I loved everything about this class, but my absolute favorite thing was the family I had in band. Band makes me so happy, there’s so many amazing people in band that I couldn’t live without. I feel like every single section had it’s own personality. The percussion section was always funny and chill and the trumpets were always loud and goofy. Oh and the clarinets were always really smart. Oh and the flutes are amazing! I’m totally not just saying that because I’m a flute pshhh what? Anyway, I feel like together we are just a big happy band family! The biggest thing I learned in this class is how to work together as a team. I’m not a big sports person, so I never really learned teamwork that way. But in band, you have to work together to create music, and I think that’s another type of team work. Ahh, I’m going to miss EVERYTHING about this class, but the biggest thing I’ll miss in Mr.Miles, my favorite teacher ever. First of all, I’ve had him for two years and he is so extraordinary. He makes me laugh till I feel like I’m going to puke and he’s extremely talented. He has taught me so much about how to play the flute and also that it’s okay to laugh at your own jokes. Mr.Miles has changed my life so much and I’ll never forget him. One memory I have is when he was thinking of slogans from Star Wars and he accidently said “to infinity and beyond” even though that's from Toy Story. We laughed so hard at that. And during our last concert we were about to play the most difficult song we have ever played which was Star Wars and he said “to infinity and beyond” right before we started playing and I just thought to myself “I’m going to miss this class so much.” I really don’t know how band with Mr.Kelsey is going to be next year and I have no idea how it could even be close to how amazing band was this year. I love band sooo much, and I’ll miss it like crazy over the summer. But the memories I’ve made during 4th period will last to infinity and beyond.

Leadership with Mr.Kratzig:

My favorite thing about leadership was the friendship I had with everyone in this class. I felt like I’ve bonded so much with my classmates throughout the school year. They’ve made me laugh and smile. I really don’t know what I would do without all my amazing ASB friends. I’ve definitely learned a lot throughout this year but the biggest thing I’ve learned is how to be a leader! I’ve always kind of know some stuff about leadership but doing all the activities and speeches we’ve done, has really helped me build my leadership skills. I’m going to miss this class like crazy, I look forward to 5th period everyday. But the biggest thing I’ll miss is the amazing teacher Mr.Kratzig. Mr.Kratzig makes me laugh and he’s such a great leader. Ugh, I’m going to miss him so much next year.

Language Arts with Mrs.Fingarson:

Holy chicken nugget cows! I don’t even know where to start. Wow, I could really right 5 billion pages about this class. Well, I might just start with this, this class has been one of the BEST THINGS THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME! And I’m not over exaggerating. On the first day of school Mrs.Fingarson was all like “I want this class to be a family.” And I was like, ummmm okay how is that going to work we only see each other for 45 minutes a day. But now as I sit here typing, I realize that we are a family. My favorite thing about this class is the people in it. When the semester changed I was kind of like NO I don’t want our class to be different but now I’m just realizing we got even more amazing people in this class. I love everyone here, I really do. I know I sound like a cheesy Hallmark card but I love this class to the moon and back. I never knew how close you could get to people who you have nothing in common with. Wait everyone in this class has something in common. We all love language arts. I don't know how much longer I can type without crying. I don’t want to go to Columbia next year. Okay, now I’m crying. Ugh, I just love the people in this class so so much. I know that I’ll still see them next year, but it won’t be the same. I will never be able to walk into 6th period and know that I’m about to spend 45 minutes with some of my favorite people on the earth. There’s not one single person in this class that I don’t love. If you are reading this and you’re from 6th period. Thank You! Thank you so much for making me so happy. This class has changed my life so much. The biggest thing I’ve learned from this class is that you’re classmates can really become your family. All the memories I’ve made in this class I will hold onto forever. Like when Nekaiya put a pencil in Mrs.Fingarsons coffee cup or when Shawn was dabbing and Tyra. Oh Tyra, let’s just say she made this class “pretty good.” I will miss EVERYTHING about this class but the biggest thing I’ll miss is Mrs.Fingarson. She is amazing. No, she’s more than amazing, she’s extraordinary. The amount of passion Mrs.Fingarson has for her job is crazy. I love her so much. Like I said before, I love everyone in this class. But Mrs.Fingarson you’ve impacted my life so much. Oh and thanks for creating DWP, I really love DWP. Anyway, just thank you. Thank you for everything. I really don’t know what I’d do without you. You’re my favorite teacher. I know that you are going through some really tough times right now. And I hate it, I really hate seeing such an amazing person suffer so much. But we are a family, and we all love you, and if you need anything we are all here for you. I will NEVER forget this class, I will never forget you Mrs.Fingarson. I love every single person so so so much in this class. I know I’ve already said that a billion times but it’s true. I will miss you so much Mrs.Fingarson. But don’t worry I’ll always keep in touch. And for all the amazing people I’ve met in this class, you guys really light up my world. I will miss this class more than anything. I love you guys. I love you Mrs.Fingarson. I love you Tuffy. I love you Tuffy. Jr. I love every single thing about this class. Thank you Mrs.Fingarson, you’ve made this year pretty good.

WSH with Mr.Jobe:

My favorite thing about this class is the people in it. I absolutely loved hanging out with such amazing people during 7th period. And the biggest thing I learned was definitely how to work better in a group. I never really liked group projects but the washington state history fair project really helped me work in a group better. The biggest thing I’ll miss about this class is my WSH Fair Squad. If you’re reading this, which you've probably not. But thank you Emma, Ayla, Sam, and Evan for being so amazing and making me so happy. I love you guys!

Language Arts- Fingarson
7. Tech- Garrett

Reading:

Favorite thing about the class- I like the creative ideas that Ms. Oshiro makes for our lessons, tests, quizzes, etc. I think that she is a great teacher and will be missed when she goes to Kent. (I think that was where she said she was moving)

Top thing I learned- I learned that if you want something done, you need to do it, not expect someone to do it for you. I've heard it before, but I had never really believed it. I'd thought that if it was possible for someone else to do it, then they should do it. Not in Ms. Oshiro's class. There was a lot of homework, and I thought I wouldn't have to work hard on it. The assignments weren't too hard, but the quantity seemed too much at first. I've learned the hard way, that If you want something done, ask!

Something I will miss- Getting to have so many of my friends all in the same class! Jake, Timothy, Connor, Micheal, Evan, and Noel. That's the most of my friends I have in one class! We had great times together, and I hope they think the same!

Physical Education:

Favorite thing about the class- Some of the sports! Not every single sport that we played I liked, but many I did! I enjoyed speedball, softball, badminton, and volleyball. I did like the fact that we played speedball a lot too.

Top thing I learned- I learned how to make the most out of a bad situation. I didn't like P.E when I started, I don't like P.E now, and I don't think I will ever be very excited about P.E, but I can at least stay positive about it. Now, I still don't like P.E, but I don't hate it or anything now.

Something I will miss- Getting to watch people dab when Ms. Ardnt isn't looking. It's hilarious to me how if she isn't looking, even for a nanosecond, then someone (mostly Noah) might be dabbing. I also enjoy getting to talk to some of my friends in P.E while waiting for the bell to ring for 3rd period.

Science:

Favorite thing about the class- Getting to learn about so many things relevant to science, and getting some insight on Mr. Holdener's life. Jake and I would almost always partner up and we would goof off, but just enough so we would get the worksheet/lab/write-up done with our best effort.

Top thing I learned- Learning about space and space exploration. It was so fun to be able to learn even more about a subject I enjoy. (Not that I didn't enjoy the other units.)

Something I will miss- Getting to hang out, whenever possible, with Jake. Mr. Holdener does have a seating chart, but when we watch a video, doing certain labs, or sometimes just random times, we can sit with each other and help each other out.

Math:

Favorite thing about the class- Mr. Harlow. I think he is a cool guy. He is very relaxed and willing to help out. Plus, the ideas he comes up with some pretty neat ideas, like the board game project. Plus, I love how he will tell us so much about his life. If I looked like him, I think I would know enough about him to pass off as him. At least 5 minutes are spent telling us about his day, how he's doing, and sometimes a funny story.

Top thing I learned- Math isn't very easy! Math, for me, is like kryptonite for Superman. I struggle with it, but I hope to become better at it, and not have to sit there, confused, when I don't understand how to do something.

Something I will miss- Getting to solve murder mysteries! Occasionally, our class would be given a few details about how someone was murdered or died. The class would ask yes or no questions about how, and once enough intel was gathered, people would try to guess how the person was killed. Just about everyone loved it.

Washington State History:

Favorite thing about the class- Getting to find out so many different things about Washington state. When I started out, I thought Washington was about as fun as Boring, Oregon. (Yes, that is a town in Oregon.) Turns out, I was wrong! Not only is Washington a boss state, but Mr. Jobe is one of the best (Not THE best, though) teachers I've ever had.

Top thing I learned- Gary Larson! He was a famous cartoonist who lives in Washington. Ever heard of, "The Far Side"? That's him! I didn't realize I had actually seen his work beforehand. He's actually pretty cool, and his comics are hysterical!

Something I will miss- I will miss working on the WSH project. I know it's already over, but I loved it. I had a great group, and I was a big contribution to the project. We even won one of the awards for the fair!

Language Arts:

Favorite thing about the class- You, Ms. Fingarson! You are my all time favorite teacher! (Right above Mr. Jobe.) The creative assignments, projects, and discussions have been great! At no time was I ever not looking forward to going to 6th period. Making friends, (or at least close acquaintances) was easy, and it's wonderful how close-knit we are. Plus, the facial expressions and things various people have said have been fantastic! I hope you enjoyed the 6th period class of 2016 as much as I did.

Top thing I learned- I am not the only one who might make weird facial expressions and jokes. You, obviously make the facial expressions, and many students here make some witty comments (All in the name of laughter, of course.) That I would not have thought of!

Something I will miss- I will miss just about everything in the class. Some of the students in 6th period are moving, not going to the school anymore, and obviously I won't have the exact same classmates next year. I will miss getting to do so many fun projects, (The book project was my favorite.) creative write-ups, and DWP's (My favorite DWP was the 50 questions one, or the one with something that had to be cute attacking the school.) Most of all, however, would be the teacher, you! I hope you do enjoy your new position at the high school. Plus, you and Ms. Oshiro made the perfect pair for teaching! It is too bad you have to go your separate ways, but if you're down about that, then try to stay positive, like I learned in P.E!

Tech:

Favorite thing about the class- Getting to finally grasp ahold of the basic knowledge for what I want to do with my life. Programming and engineering interest me the most. I am glad Mr. Garrett gave me just what I needed to begin my life after I graduate. (Kind of)

Top thing I learned- How to engineer a great robot that stands out, and how to make it do awesome things. Like I said before, this is a big deal to me, and I think that it is a great thing that Surprise Lake is able to offer that. Also, I was proven that not all stereotypes are correct. My partner, Justin Lewis is a well-known baseball player, and is one of the "cool kids." He chose me as a partner, which I was a little worried about at first, but I found out he is a whole lot like me: Loves robotics, Minecraft, and making fun jokes. He was almost a big eye-opener for me. I am glad that there is many people out there like Justin.

P.S- I am sorry for Carson's tragic death. I understand how you must feel, having someone you knew and had a tight bond with taken away from you. I had the same experience with my dog, Finn. It may feel awful now, but it is the way it is, and nothing can be done to change it. It wasn't anybody's fault, just a freak accident with little explanation, and nothing really could have been done to prevent it. It will get better, soon. Maybe not today, tommorow, or next week, but soon.

My current schedule:
1. Reading

2. Science

3. Math II

4. P.E

5. Art

6. Language Arts

7. WSH

Reading: My favorite thing about this class was that the activities were always creative. We always did something really fun. Our teacher, Ms. Oshiro, always thought outside of the box and had us do fun activities that were related to what we were learning. The top thing I have learned is how to write essays. I feel I could write one blindfolded! But if I did that, it probably wouldn’t be readable. The thing I’m gonna miss from this class is the pandas! I loved the pandas, being able to hold them and such. It was fun to have some mascot for the class, and made it more memorable and unique. Not to mention, if you had one, and you were giving it away, people went crazy over them.

Science: My favorite thing about this class is the variety in activities we get. One day we could be doing a lab, and the next we could be doing a Jeopardy review. It was always a great way to spice things up and keep it fresh. And it would make the class a lot more exciting, because if it was the same everyday, people wouldn’t like coming to the class. One thing I learned is about how plants work and the parts of them. Although they are tricky to remember, they are still something I remember. Something I’m gonna miss is Mrs. Boyds jokes. They were mostly corny, but sometimes they got me to laugh.

Math: My favorite thing about this class was the things we learned. We learned a lot throughout the year, and Mr. Harlow really helped me understand it if I didn’t get it. We learned a lot, like how to measure circles, how to find volume, debit and credit cards, and so much more! One thing I learned was how to measure things with missing measurements. It was hard for me to do at first, but then I asked him and he taught me how to do it. One thing I’m gonna miss is the Life Project. I don’t think we’re gonna do anything like that in another school, so I think it is really unique and teaches us the importance of knowing what we are doing before we grow up.

P.E: My favorite thing about this class is that we played lots of games. We played a lot of really fun games, which were really competitive. I loved the games we played, like speedball, and badminton, and soccer, and more! When we played them, it got really competitive really fast, which made everything really fun and intense. One thing I learned is that stretching before playing is important, because if you don’t it can hurt you. One thing I’ll miss is the activities and the competitiveness.

Art: My favorite thing about this class is that we learned a lot of types of art. We got to paint, and draw, and express creativity with our work. Something I learned was art deco, and how it is all around us, and is a very popular type of art style. Something I will miss is the people I knew in the class, because we usually had a lot of fun messing around, but of course we did our work too.

Language Arts: Oh boy, where to start? I think this is by far my favorite class. It was always so creative, and filled with life. It was so much fun, from the beginning to the end. At the beginning of the year, I wasn’t so sure about this class, but now I’m positive. It’s gotta be my favorite class this year. To the dabbing and the inside jokes like “That was pretty good,” that only this period would get, and make everyone from 6th period look crazy to the rest. From the fun DWP posts, to the interesting essays, this class is filled with fun. My favorite thing about this class is a serious tie. I really have to go with DWP, for the most fun homework I’ve ever seen. Or the entry tasks, which were always fun to see a student take a twist on something we learned or haven’t learned. One thing I have learned is to never make judgements before the year is over. As I’ve stated before, I wasn’t so sure about this class. I now know not to make judgements, because it might turn out to be the best class. I love all the people in the class, and they’re practically family. When 1st semester ended, I was so scared I would get another period. Thankfully I didn’t, and got to stay in my favorite period in my favorite class. The thing I will miss most is, everything. I’ll miss those pillows that made it so comfy in the class, I’ll miss all the students, the inside jokes, the cats, Jacob, and DWP. And I don’t think I’ll ever have another class like this one again, one that’s so friendly towards everyone, so funny, so creative and so enthusiastic.

WSH: My favorite thing about this class is that we barely had homework for this class. If we did get homework, it was fairly easy and could easily be done in 10 minutes. I also had some friends in the class, so it made it funner. One thing I learned is the legislative branches, executive and judicial. One thing I’ll miss is having a place to chill for 7th period before ending the day.

So, all in all, to summarize this year with a quote, I would end it on…

“That was pretty good.” Tyra.

    Thanks for the fun year!

My favorite thing about P.E. is all the fun games and activities we do in class. One of my favorite games we play is speedball or four corner dodgeball. One of my favorite sports that they taught us was badminton or floor hockey. They were all so much fun and challenging at the same time. One thing I learned in P.E. was how to push myself to the limit and try really hard. Also both teachers taught me a lot more sports and activities which I then got really good at. One thing I will miss is the teachers and all the fun activities. The teachers were always nice and supportive.Always telling you to do your best and try. Also they always took in other kids ideas and made up fun games and ideas.

Math-

My second period is Math 2 with Mr.Harlow. My favorite thing in math was how easy-going and understanding Mr.Harlow was. He rarely yelled or raised his voice. And if he did it meant something really happened. Also whenever he’s gone on Tuesdays it makes me upset because I love being in Math and doing the Life Project. Something I learned in Math was about money. I know how to count money and stuff like that, but I didn’t know like mortgage or balance and things like that. Also I didn’t even realize how hectic life could get from what to me always seemed like simple life things. I’m always going to miss Mr.Harlow and his laugh.Every time he laughed it made me smile because it was a funny laugh.

Cadet Band:

My third period is Cadet Band with Mr.Miles. One of my favorite things about band was all the silly and weird jokes Mr.Miles made. Another thing that I love is when Mr.Miles made a joke that sounded inappropriate and he didn't realize it so everyone that did would laugh and go Mr.Miles don't say that again. And when I don't get it i'm just like what's so funny, and Ainsley will be like you don't want to know so i'm like okay. Something I learned was how to memorize a song and how to march in a parade. In videos parade marching and playing seem easy. But I really had to do it I was confused and having difficulty. But after a little bit I caught on and did really well. Something i'll miss is us randomly start talking and laughing about something totally off topic because Mr.Miles made a weird or inappropriate joke. I'll also will miss just generally getting to play my Alto sax in class and having fun with everyone.

Science-

My fourth period is science with Mr.Holdener. Something i’ll miss in science is all the weird but fun labs we did in science. Some of my favorite labs was flipping coins to figure out the phenotypes and genotypes so we can draw and design your “kid”. Also another favorite thing I loved in science was all the random stuff said by Mr.Holdener. Also for being a first year teacher, he was a good one. Some Things I learned were asexual and sexual reproduction, punnett squares, and much much more. The way he taught things were unique and really different then most science teachers. He wanted us to learn visually and hands-on. I’m going to miss making jokes with Mr.Holdener about random things he said that day or random things someone in class said I’m also going to miss singing in class whenever he put music you could singing along too on.

.

Washington State History-My fifth class is Washington State History with Mr.Tiegs. One of my favorite things about WSH is how Mr.Tiegs uses sarcasm every day and it makes class a lot more fun. Something I learned was lots of cool and interesting things about Washington State. Something I will definitely miss is Mr.Tiegs use of sarcasm and humour. It always makes class a lot more fun and interesting.

Language Arts- Oh my god how can I put this into words. I love writing and reading and cats so this is a good class if you know what i’m saying. Ms.Fingarson is my number one favorite teacher in this whole school. I know I haven’t been here long but I feel like from the time I started in here in February and Now June I think wow All thanks to Ms.Fingarson my writing has got a lot better. One of my Number one favorite things about this class is the class in general..Like I said I love writing so this is my Language Arts and Writing class so it’s my Number One favorite part of school. Everytime I think about the last day it makes me sad, because it means I have to leave all the awesomeness of Ms.Fingarson 6th Period class behind and move on to Columbia. I hate thinking about leaving SLMS. I one thing I have learned in Ms.Fingarson is true weirdness and family. Everyone in this class is so out in the open and ok with being weird they never hold anything back. Especially when someone like Cassidy forgets or doesn’t know the answer to a question she doesn’t make hide her feelings like ugh I don’t know this she goes,”Dang it I don’t know this.” And then sits there trying to figure out the answer. Another thing I learned in this class is how much Ms.Fingarson LOVES cats. I mean before 6th period with Ms.Fingarson I didn’t think anyone and I mean anyone could love cats so much but jeez was I mistaken. Something I will miss about this class is the class in general. I don’t think I could say how much I love this class. I mean love this class. I love everyone and everything about this class. My classmates, Ms.Fingarson, Tuffy,Tuffy Jr. Also one other thing I will miss about this class is the creativity. Ms.Fingarson is one of the most creative people I know. I will miss everything about this class and will never forget it. Also I hope to see you in Highschool Ms.Fingarson. I do whatever I can to get your class.

Reading-

My last and final class on normal days is Reading with Ms.Oshiro. One of my absolute favorite things about this class is all the panda love. I love getting to try to rush into the class and getting one of the six pandas(Stephanie,Gerald,Theodore,Penelope,Super Panda and carla) All of them are so cute and sweet. Except Gerald, Gerald is an evil little guy. One thing I learned is a lot of different reading strategies. They have all helped me so much. Another thing I need to point out is that Ms.Oshiro is my second favorite teacher right behind Ms.Fingarson. One thing I will surely miss is all the creativity and liveliness of the class. Everyone is so creative and different it makes me so happy. I will definitely miss everyone and everything over the summer.

I always grab Gerald and now I am starting to grab Carl too because the two Pandas are best friends. I always read with Gerald and patted his back because he likes to get burped. Kyle, Jake, and I sat with Tim and we would always make the pandas dab and whip, and hit the folks. I am really gonna miss that class. The most important thing I learned was to “Donut Worry.” Ms. Oshiro would have this up once in awhile and it cheered me up especially since it was related to doughnuts. I am going to miss Ms. Oshiro sooooooo much. I like that she is very involved with everyone and gets to know us kids. She is always so happy and cares for others.

WSH with Mr. Tiegs…

My favorite thing about this class was that my best friend was in it with me. That was the only class I had with Karina and I made the best of it. We always get reminded not to talk but we end up talking again. Hopefully I have more classes with Karina next year. What I learned in that class is Mr. Tiegs sarcasm is really annoying. Like I can’t even tell if he is serious or sarcastic most of the time. He was kind of rude to me because he thinks I am really dumb but oh well. I am going to miss him calling me “Bendorf.” He is the only teacher who calls me by my last name besides Mr. Alfano when he was the Principal at Endeavour. But I will also miss Mr.Tiegs. He was a teacher that I disliked with love. He was rude towards me but when he wasn’t I actually liked me. I think we had a love, hate relationship.

Science with Mrs. Boyd!!!

My favorite thing about this class is definitely the kids in it. I really enjoyed coming to that class because everyone was so happy. I mean we had Anton, Jade, Tessy, Maddy, Zack, Djene, and many more. It was a good mix of quiet and loud. I really think we were Mrs. Boyd’s favorite class, granted she had two Volleyball girls, two TA’s and Anton. What I learned in this class was no one really laughs at Mrs. Boyd’s jokes. They are kind of annoying because we all know it is gonna be bad. But sometimes I laugh just to make her feel good. HAHHA, that’s funny to me. I am really going to miss Mrs. Boyd. I didn’t like her at first but being in Volleyball made her more enjoyable. And I had goods grades in that class so I think she liked me.

Concert Band with Mr. Miles!

My favorite thing about this class was playing my instrument. I couldn’t imagine playing any other thing besides Alto Saxophone. I am glad I chose it over Clarinet because it was a good fit. My whole section was fun. I would make jokes and no one would laugh, but that makes me laugh. I was bummed out that I ended up in 3rd chair at the end of the year even though I deserve to be 1st or 2nd. What I learned in this class is our school is a family. I felt that, that band class formed a family. We were all into music and enjoyed the hilarious presence of Mr. Miles. He is so crazy. I am really going to miss him. AHHHH now I am getting choked up writing this. :’( I am going to miss Mr. Miles I really he would follow us all the way up to high school but he said he wouldn’t have a life. He really enjoys middle school and I respect that. I am going to miss the fire raps he would come up with and his silly mistakes. Mr. Miles was definitely the highlight of my day.

Leadership with Mr. Kratzig!

My favorite thing about this class was being involved with the school. I am so grateful to have become president but I couldn’t have done it without my amazing peers. I enjoyed making everyone laugh at Jade’s corny jokes, my description of every days lunch food on the announcements, and Brandi’s craziness. I had so many memories with the officers and I am going to really miss it. The most funniest one was the officers and Mr. Kratzig making fun of how I ate. I WASN’T EVEN EATING HOW THE DESCRIBED IT. Mr. Kratzig showed us a video of a tree cutter where it started at the top and just devoured the tree. And that I guess is how I looked eating a Wendy’s chicken wrap one day. It probably isn’t even funny but at the time it was. I learned more about myself in this class. I learned I wear my heart on my sleeve. This year was really tough and Mr. Kratzig really helped me through all of it. I am going to miss each and every single moment I shared with the leadership class and my mentor Mr. Kratziggyzig.

Writing with Ms. Fingarson!!!

This class was my top 3 classes. Probably my favorite. I want to start out with saying I love you Ms. Fingarson. You were definitely a role model to follow. I read Alexandra’s DWP and it made me cry. It made me realize that people do really care about each other at school. Alexandra was my favorite part of this class. When I moved at the semester I was scared because a lot of the smart kids were in 6th period and I thought I wouldn’t fit in. But this class really treated each other like family. I have never seen so many kids enjoy each other's presence with laughter and joy. Tyra was always a highlight of the day. Her beautiful sense of humor made me admire her. Ms. Fingarson really does above and beyond the requirements of her job. She is so caring and gets to know everyone like Ms. Oshiro. I am glad I am behind a screen because I am balling. I really love you guys. It is hard to see Ms. Fingarson is so much pain and it hurts. I didn’t cry over the whole Carson thing until I saw Ms. Fingarson on Tuesday. It showed how much she cared and cares about Carson and her students. I could say more but I can’t think of anything at the moment. And I don’t think I can describe in words how much this year impacted me.

Math with Mr. Harlow!

My favorite thing in the class was Mr. Harlow. He is very awkward. I liked his laugh because he would laugh at things that weren’t even funny but his laugh is what made the joke better. I didn’t really become open with Mr. Harlow like I did with most teachers because that class was HARD. I mean the whole year, that class I had a bad grade in. All the rest I had A’s. Math was my favorite subject but now it is not. I learned that you have to work hard to succeed. I always worked hard in that class but I never really succeeded. The tests were hard and only a couple I would get an A or B. I will take my failure with me so I can use it to improve later in life. I am going to miss the joy I felt in math. I liked 6th period math that I was in for the first semester but the I moved to 7th. They got some trouble makers let me tell you. But when I moved to that class I got to be with Reuben so it was nice.

We learn games that make the fun. The games wakes everyone up and makes them pay more attention in class. The top thing that I learned was probably the space unit. I learned a lot from this unit because there is so much to space and there is so many questions that I have for the unit. The thing that i’m going to miss about this class is the way Mr. Holdener teaches. He teaches in a unique ways so that everyone is alert and aware of what's going to happen next.

Tiegs: My favorite thing about his class is the jokes he says. The biggest thing that I learned was probably the native american unit. It taught me the lifestyles that they live in and how they survive. The biggest thing that i’m going to miss about his class is my friends in there and being able to learn in a fun way.

Darnielle: My favorite thing about his class is the jokes and stories that he tells me. The biggest thing I learned about his class is the right and best way to exercise. So in the future I will be able to teach others. The thing that I am going to miss is about this class is the games that we play. I will miss playing kickball and pins because I get to throw a bunch balls at people.

Oshiro: My favorite thing about this class is the way ms.oshiro teaches. She teaches in a fun way and makes me want to tay interactive in her class. The biggest thing that I learned in this class is the process of writing. The thing that I’m going to miss is the jokes and all the fun we have in that class.

Scott: My favorite thing about this class is the NfL videos I watch. I don’t really learn anything in this class because i’m a TA. The biggest thing I’m going to miss about this class is the jokes me and mr.scott make and our passion for sports.

Fingarson: My favorite thing about this class is the way you teach. You teach in such a unique way that I enjoy coming back to that class everyday. The biggest thing that I learned in this class is how to write a proper essay. You taught me the best way to write one for the near future. I am going to miss all the jokes and good memory’s in that class.

Harlow: My favorite thing about this class is the way mr.harlow jokes around. The biggest thing that I learned in this class is to not give up. Mr. Harlow taught me that we shouldn’t give up in when we are having trouble. I am going to miss my friends in this class and all the fun we have in there.

1)Science, Holdener
2)WSH, Tiegs
3)Math, Harlow
4)Concert band, Miles
5)Leadership, Kratzig
6)Writing, Fingarson
7)Reading, Oshiro

Science: This year in science was definitely one that I will remember. First of all Mr. Holdener is a great teacher, he always tries to make class more fun and intriguing by thinking outside of note taking. I probably have presented more in his class than any other. Presenting is not my favorite but because of all the presentations I had to do it has definitely helped me with some of my leadership skills that I also work on in leadership. The thing I will miss the most is the atmosphere of his classroom. When stepping into Mr.holdener's class it always seems happy and encouraging. also when I look back at science I will miss the effort that Mr.Holdner put into being creative.

WSH: This year I have learned so much about Washington, things I had never even heard of. like i learned about all of the immigrants that came to Washington and why. My favorite thing about WSH isn't the class itself but rather the way Mr.Tiegs teaches. He is always answering my questions very directly and never fails at making a bad joke. Honestly the thing i will miss most and appreciate most about Wsh is the fact that we barely any homework.

Math: I have learned a lot in math but the biggest thing that I learned is the importance of trying your hardest because effort does make difference. the most enjoyable thing about math to me is how laid back and chill Mr.Harlow. In class when he is giving us instructions he is always up to giving his opinion on things and making sure everyone knows what they need to be doing. Overall hands down some of my best memories in math are when Mr.Harlow has told a kid off on their stupidity.

Concert Band: Being in concert band has helped me expand my limits on my trombone. including my technique, skill, tone, and most of all my note span. I love concert band because of all of the fun things we get to do going on tour, preforming in the assembly, and much more, Also concert band is fun to be in because it is kind of a reward to al of the people who have worked hard to be in the top band. My favorite memories in band...well I don't have one there has been so many amazing, fun, and funny things that has happened this year and I cant choose one.

Leadership: Where do I start. At the beginning of the year I was not the type of person who would jump for joy when it came to public speaking it still is not my favorite thing but over this school year thanks to leadership and a little bit of science my leadership skills not only including public speaking has improved. my favorite thing about that class...the fact that in leadership we are one big slightly crazy adopted family. we have laughed together, cried together, pretty much gone through every high and low this year had to offer but in the end we stayed strong. not only us being a family make it my favorite thing it also means it will be my favorite memory for the rest of my life.

Writing: At first I got a little discouraged about this class but I overcame that and if this class has taught me anything is to never give up. When you are feeling stressed about work you don't give up because that means you have been defeated by a simple problem. The best thing about writing class is how creative and fun. The best memories i have is when we were doing the stations for the give and Caleb read his paper to the class which made the whole class feel a variety of emotions.

1st- Math
2nd- Reading
3rd- WSH
4th- Band
5th- ASB
6th- ELA
7th- Science

Math-
My favorite thing about the class is being able to see some of my close friends and having a good time with them. Especially now since we are doing the Life Project it's really interesting to see what our life will turn into (the life project) and it's really fun to grow up with them. Mathematically. We all see how much we learn throughout this year and it's just really cool. I'm going to miss them a whole lot. A lesson that Ms. Mitchell taught me in her class is to never give up. I know people all around us tell us to never give up, I have no idea how, but Ms. Mitchell actually opened up my eyes and taught me not to give up. When I'm usually working she comes up to me and asks if I'm doing ok. When I don't actually understand what I'm doing I be totally honest with her and say I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing. And I really love how she's not frustrated with me. She just smiles and explains how to do a certain task. I'm like really really really poor in the life project but Ms. Mitchell showed me how to manage a life in this project with the certain amount I get paid (since my husband is unemployed). Something I'll miss about the class is having good talks with Ms. Mitchell and how she is with her students. She is always so positive and just a out going teacher, or person in general. I'm going to miss seeing her next year.

Reading-
My favorite thing about this class is how Ms. Oshiro has her stuffed pandas and names each one. She is a really nice teacher, if you don't get on her bad side. She is always pushing us and knowing we could do better then just turning in a paper with simple answers without elaborating. Or not even turn in a paper. She knows we can do better. And she always motivates us, and she tries to make these activities that are fun and helpful. Top thing I learned about this class is to never let down a teacher. Not to just Ms. Oshiro but to ever teacher or just people. Once you know this person is counting on you and is pushing you, because they know you can do it. You have a feeling of not letting them down and Ms. Oshiro has taught me that throughout this year. A thing I'm going to miss about the class is definitely her pandas. And how we did all these group activities. She was a good reading teacher.

WSH-
My favorite thing about the class is how sarcastic Mr. Tiegs can be. Sometimes he over does it. But usually it's just amusing to watch because it's so bad, it's pretty funny. How sometimes he picks on me and I just have a completely blank face and don't say anything. He's a really nice teacher honestly , his sarcasm just gets to me. It makes me laugh. But like I said. Sometimes he can over do it. Something I learned about the class is to never ever EVER PROCRASTINATE. In his class he's given us A TON of time to complete assignments. And I feel like when he gives us a ton of time it makes us procrastinate and I don't like that. And then he grades us hard so UGHHHH but it's okay. It's our faults, for procrastinating. A thing I'm going to miss about the class is Mr. Tiegs sarcasm. He's been using sarcasm since Day 1 and it just so funny to see him do. I don't think anyone can do a ton of sarcasm like him.

Band-
My favorite thing about band is the type of music Mr. Miles gives us to play. This year we played StarWars. When he gave us the music sheet my mouth completely dropped. I had no idea how to play this song at all. But Mr. Miles believed that we were smart enough to play this piece and make it sound good for our last concert just a couple days ago. We worked a lot on it during the block schedule and it was really fun hearing the whole band play it. A thing that I learned in Mr. Miles class is his dog Lucy. Has many funny adventures. He sometimes tells us these funny stories of his dog Lucy how she barked in the middle of the night because she saw her reflection in the Mirror which woke Mr. Miles up. Basically Mr. Miles has a life full of adventures and it's hilarious! A thing I'm going to miss about the class is when Mr. Miles makes up weird jokes that make no sense but are still funny. He enjoys all his students and you can see that he does. He's a teacher where you can go to and he'll understand your situation. He can always make me smile. I'm going to miss learning music with him.

ASB-
My favorite thing about the class is growing up with other leaders of the school. In the beginning of the year we barely knew each other and now we are like a second family. We've been through so much together it's unbelievable. We've all grown up and learn from mistakes we've had. People say ASB is just like a free period. But it isn't we have to do a lot of work. It's fun but it's a lot of work. We start from day one, maybe a little bit after. As I said we worked a lot and we been through a lot. We are all just second family. Thing that I learned about ASB is being a leader basically, we've all learned how to be kind to one another how to work together how to just be around each other. I think I'm going to miss about this class is basically everyone in it as I said like two times they are like my second family. I'm going to miss working with them and having good memories with them throughout the school year. I'm going to miss Mr. Ktazig most of all. He's been a wonderful teacher throughout this year helping us become better leaders for our school and hoping for us to keep leading as we grow up.

ELA-
My favorite thing about this class is Ms. Fingarson she is my favorite teacher. I trust her with anything and Tuffy. She's always so positive and knowing what to do with our class. And like she shows that she loves us and we love her very much, this past week has been intense. But we all can get through this. We love her so much we have to help her back up. A thing I learned about this class is always having high expectations. Ms. Fingarson have always been giving us high expectations telling us we could do better. And I appreciate that, she made us ace the SBA!!!! She's just amazing and I'll miss her a ton. I might just cry right now! A thing I'll miss about this class is everyone in it. I'm going to miss Anton talking about Carlos. How we have 2 mini tuffy 's. I'm going to Miss seeing Ms. Fingarson laugh and smiling. I love everyone dearly. I hope we can see Ms. Fingarson in Highschool Science-
Science-
My favorite thing about the class is all the labs we did this past year. How we all did amazing labs and research about everything. Mr. Holdener does know how to make fun labs. And how he talks. I have no idea why don't ask me but I like his voice. It's loud and clear. I don't know. Don't ASK. A thing I learned about This class is EVERYTHING. Last year, science I was SOOOOO CONFUSED I had no idea what a MV was last year at the end of the year. Literally I was confused. And Mr. Holdener was just so clear about everything and I learned a ton. A thing I'm going to miss about this class is coming into science and knowing it's going to be a good day with Mr. Holdener he always has something fun to do. Besides quizzes and stuff. I really am going to miss each and everyone. I love all you guys. Good luck in Columbia guys ❤️

Schedule:

Reading with Ms. Oshiro

TA for Mrs Mckenna

Science with Mrs. Boyd

Math with Mrs. Mitchell

WAshington State History with Mr. Jobe

Language Arts with Ms. Fingarson

Tech with Mr. Garrett

      Reading:

Oh Ms Oshiro… I walked into her classroom on the first day of school back in september and one thing caught my eye, Robinson Cano. She has a lot of posters of the Seattle mariners and Robinson Cano. I knew from the start that this class would be fun because the teacher and I had so much in common. My favorite thing about this class had to be during 4th period last year. Last year, Kaden was in my reading class and we have been long time fishing buddies. When I caught a cute little bass, we named him Carlos and I had given him to Kaden as a birthday present because he was just a little baby bass and he had always wanted to have a pet bass. Lets just say that ol’ Schmackernacker had a little thing for cute little bass. Then one day we started telling people in class about Carlos, and the legend of Carlos the bass began! He had became a class legend and everyone knew who he was. Everyone thought he was not a real thing until I had an exit task for my Five Minute teacher and i had the picture of me and kaden with little carlos just minutes after I had caught him. Sadly, Carlos had died from cancer and was eventually eaten by Kaden’s bass that he had caught and put in the tank with Carlos. RIP Carlos the bass! The top thing that I had learned in this class has to be to have fun. Lets just say that i didn't exactly enjoy reading last year. This year, during first semester, i had my best friend, Kaden, in my class and we had a lot of fun. All this fun helped class go by more smoothly (most of the time) and helped the class go faster. Even when I got out of 4th period at second semester, I still had fun and the class went by and i had had so much fun during the 45 minutes a day that i was in there. Something I will miss about her class would be the friendships we had had in that class. I made good friends in there such as Cierra, Alexandra, Bailey, jake and more. It seemed like almost everyone in there was my friend. I will miss that part the most.

TA:

Being a TA is not the best but it sure is fun. I have my TA buddy around with me to talk too. That would be Cierra, she is a library aide during second period. We always work on assignments together and she is fun to talk to and a great friend. The thing i learned the most in this class is to always get your work done. Mrs. mckenna had found out that I had a few missing assignments and she pushed me to get them all completed. I now have barely any missing assignments because I do not want to have to be doing them during my 2nd period. I will miss hanging out with all the other Ta’s in the library.

Science:

This class is extremely fun. I don't really know why but the atmosphere is always happy. Mrs. boyd is a really great science teacher. My favorite part about this class is Mrs. Boys always making jokes, and sometimes they are about me! The top thing i have learned in her class is that there are times when I just need to shut up! Yeah, i will say it myself, sometimes I can go on and on and on about fishing or just a totally irrelevant topic. Other times I am shouting across the room to my friends during a test! Yeah, don't laugh. I cannot help it. Well I have learned to be quiet and shut my mouth and it has really paid off. From what was a C is now a B+ and I could never be happier. I will miss my classmates the most because i had a lot of friends in that class.

Math:

Math. I love math class, but i do not really like math. So it's not my strongest subject.. But i sure love Ms. Mitchell’s class! I have had her for 2 years and she is definitely one of my favorite teachers. She is willing to talk, she will teach important life lessons. If there is anyone who could just bleed out too, It would probably be Ms. Mitchell. My favorite part of this class was when i was eating a snickers bar and she caught me, and we looked at eachother for about 5 seconds, and i just went back to eating it while still looking at her. The whole entire class went up in laughter. The thing i will miss the most is her attitude towards teaching. She is always in the nicest mood imaginable and she makes class really fun. Maybe one day I will actually get good at math! ;)

WSH:

My favorite thing from WSh class was the WSH fair. This was my favorite because i had had a lot of fun and my booth thingy was set up right next to Kadens booth. We had a lot of fun and we ate a lot of candy and walked about to other boards together. The thing i learned was to stay off my phone in class. I used to be on my phone a lot and he had to take it away a few times. I had only used my phone in his classroom because that is the only place i had gotten data. Phones are a distraction and they can lead to bad grades on important assignments. I know that now. I will miss eating in that class because Mr. Jobe let us eat because he had thought that lunch was too late. I agree. I always bring food or my friends give me food and we eat in there and it is fun to have a snack while working\. Also, he lets us sometimes listen to music which is also fun and makes working a little easier.

Language Arts:

Oh boy oh boy where do i even start on this class???! This is my FAVORITE class out of all my classes. You are also my favorite teacher out of every teacher I have had for the last 8 years i have been in school. My favorite part about this class is when kaden and I had pillow fights when we used to sit next to each other. We had to have the pillows taken away from us due to unnecessary smacking across the head. There is so many things I want to talk about in this. I have been waiting to type this one. First thing I want to say is I love everybody in this class and i consider them family to me. Alexandra always motivating everyone to get their DWP done. Tyra thinking things were pretty good. Alexa’s love for doughnuts. I could go on and on about everybody and what i love about them but you have other people's DWP to grade so I won't. I remember Alexandra made a rap about doing DWP. I remember the time when caleb sang all- star and got the whole entire class singing along with him.You probably noticed, but Kaden and i thought you didnt know, but we used to play tugawar with the snake…. Now what ever happened to that snake? He was one of my only friends!! No i'm kidding haha. Remember when alexandra was mad at a stool? Yeah, that was one of the days where i laughed so hard i almost peed myself. I didn't, thankfully. CARLOS AND THE ASP!!!! Kaden and I were going to write a 10 part book series! I wish we still were in the same period because we would have followed through with that plan. Alrighty. Ms. Fingarson, You have taught me so much. You are the bestest teacher i have ever had. (Don't take away a point because i said bestest, I did it on purpose) You have been there for me through the ups and downs. Whenever I am looking down or not feeling well, you are the first person to notice it and you always ask me if everything is alright. You just make me want to fast forward through the day until your class because I cannot ever wait to see all my friends and my favorite teacher during 6th period! It cheers me up walking into that classroom everyday and sitting in my seat with all those wonderful friends around. Something about you makes me want to consider you family. You always know how to make someone laugh or even make them happy for the rest of the day. I am so so so sorry that i did not get you any smoked salmon. I didn't catch much salmon as i have been focusing on catching bass. I promise to bring you some next year when you are at columbia. You can email me to make sure that promise is not broken. Anyways, You have taught me that school is not that bad after all. I never used to like writing. In fact, I HATED writing. All the essays that we had done this year got me to look at writing in a different way. I have learned that I can express my thoughts and my feelings while writing. I love creative writing so so much! Something about picking up a pen and writing what is on the top of your head is really fun. In fact, I have never been so engaged in a class as i have been in your class. I have never once missed a DWP. Besides from letting the class down, I do not want to let you down by not doing it. I know that you think of me as kind of a leader in our class also I want to encourage others to get it done too. I really love the way you use up the full class period. We get the most learning as possible done that way and we have more fun. You are just the best, no way to describe how much I love you and love your class. Just the amount of things you have taught me and how much you care about my success in school as well as every other student that you have. It's just phonomenal. You put so much effort into making activities that are fun and you devote so much time into teaching. I have never met a teacher who loves their job as much as you love your job. You have fun with everything and you make sure that we get to do fun things to learn because you understand that nobody likes to do boring worksheets. Thinking about it, i don't recall ever having to do worksheets unless they were tests and stuff. We always use our journals and do activities instead of sitting down with worksheets! Way to save paper!! Ms. Fingarson, I know this has been a very tough week for you, especially. Carson was an amazing person and i loved playing ball with jhim. He brought smiles to everyone's faces. He will always be remembered and we just have to think of all the fun times we had with him. I will talk whenever you need someone to talk to. I have my fife email on my phone so i reply fast when someone emails me on there. I will visit you a lot next year. And i mean probably every day. I will miss you more than anyone and i really hope i will see you in class and i will have you in class when i am in highschool. Again, thank you for all the amazing things you have done for me and everyone else. I will miss you the most. I cannot wait to have you back in class tomorrow!

Tech:

My favorite part is when Daein and i flipped over the plywood on accident in the hallway.
