When I was young, my parents used to to take me to the market to buy strawberries all the time so that we could make strawberry cupcakes, it tasted delicious and it was such an unforgettable pastry

And my pastry is the croissant, a famous French pastry dating back to the early 20th century.
I chose the croissant because my family and I frequently go to a French shop to eat and relax on Tuesday nights when waiting for my sister to finish her tuition. This, to me, are valuable moments that I cherished. That’s why every time I see a croissant, I think about my parents, and all the times I went out to eat with them.

My pastry is a chocolate custard cake and the reason why I have fond memories with it is that it was my first thing I ever baked.I guess I was just really ambitious at that point of time.It was definitely not perfect at first but I don’t regret baking this.It truly warms the cockles of my heart whenever I bake this special, and first ever pastry I ever baked.(thx ms Stella for the phrase)
