When I realized we were going to Lisbon I was a little uncertain as many go to France, Germany or Italy. We got there and I got amazed by my surroundings, a beautiful place full of life and color. The night of the first day shortly came and as usual we went for dinner but this time we went to such an unusual place. Just a few blocks of our apartment a lady was making some “ carne asada”, which is basically roasted beef or pork. The nicest humblest women I have ever meet in my life. 

    She talked to us about her family and how hard it was for her to get where she was. It instantly changed my life showing that in a humble restaurant lays a humble soul. Life has its ways and so it took me there that night and many after that. As beautiful as a place is you must never be deceived by what you see, you must always look ahead and see the circumstances of those in that place. Reminding yourself that the best journey is not where money and expenses are but, those that show you a true experience and touch you in unimaginable ways with no cost at all.
