The both videos are actually connected and show us how human beings have had a very strong impact on earth. The first video it's an explanation of growth population but from different points of view. The method that is used to highlight this phenomenon it's population pyramid, which explain the population increase in a country by dividing them into males and females in their three reproductive times. Pre, middle and post._The second one was really much more shocking to me because I felt pretty bad about the way like animals are treated. I'm not saying that I don't consume beef, pork, etc. Because I actually do. But animals' life conditions should be different, at least, until their death.

Both videos speak of the impact of the human being on the ecosystems (as shown with the treatment that is given to animals and the consumption of supermarket products that are made with environmental resources), because they show that as the human population grows, it consumes more resources and directly by the production system of the countries, people become more consumers, in addition, shows the relationship of the population growth of the countries in emphasis of whether the people are preproductive, productive and post-productive taking into account the age, because there is the logic of production and consumption in the societies shown in the way that the countries delimit to its inhabitants by ages.

Based on videos and reading, it can be shown that human beings consume the resources of the planet and with their lifestyle, overconsumption occurs because it has been determined that there is a limit, as time passes humans grow in their population at depopulation levels and this is evident in the consequences that exist in the ecosystems, but these figures change according to the context of each country, so there will be places where more resources are consumed than others as is the case of the United States, also, we must take into account the way each population grows, since some grow faster than others because there are cases where there are more elderly people than young people, all this has consequences in the emigration and immigration phenomena, as people tend to move for the planet for different reasons.

I think it is important to take into account those facts that are affecting the planet as the lifestyle of people, since these have been responsible for overconsuming the resources of the planet, but it must be stressed that society does this because there is a structure capitalist to consume and to discard, all this complementing that the human beings grow in a disproportionate form in relation with the available resources and that in some point of the time the planet will not hold more.

I have come up with new ideas about the logic in which consumerism works and how it connects with the disproportionate growth of the population, with the fact that everything is connected based on a social structure that allows people to have a lifestyle where they want to consume everything they can to satisfy their need for consumerism, but it must be understood that this is a consequence of that system and that it is destroying the resources of the planet as time goes by, in addition to reaching a point where the planet and its ecosystems do not support the environmental imbalance caused by humans.

In both videos is too evident the impact that humans have on the world. Beyond the academic connection, it is important to realize the real connection the information presented is not just to inform but to be aware of how we are educating our children or the future generations, and also how we are educating ourselves in order to change the big impact of all this overpopulation and overconsumption.

These videos and the reading let me understand how humans are so selfish, thinking just in our necessities but not thinking in how it could impact the world and the future consequences of our current actions.
