         <description><![CDATA[<div>This video is about how functionalism works in our society. It emphasizes the idea of Emile Durkheim wherein the society is stable and all the people are interdependent with one another, it also shows that our society embraces some changes in order to meet the needs of the people. Functionalism is made up of different structures including the institutions that meet the needs of a person, and social facts, on the other hand, is the way of how we think or act in a society that cannot be influenced by an individual (example: law). This video also shows the criticisms that a functionalist perspective encountered.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Symbolic interactionism  gives the same importance of a society as a whole since in here we are looking into a small scale or the individuality of a person. In this video the three tenets of social interactionism in the society was mentioned and some examples were cited. In conclusion to this, different people gives different meaning on things since they don’t have the same experiences regarding a particular object or situation. Interaction with other people will influence a person on how they should react.]]></description>
