Connection: When a person decides to dress up in a lab coat and starts spewing information, people are more likely to believe him due to the credibility of a scientists words.

Connection: The Critical Thinking process is used in this scenario due to the fact that the results may not be accurately produced. When Critically Thinking, you must be able to determine all factors of the situation. For example, a dinosaur may not have the relevant information people are looking for due to the event of them living many years ago, which cannot be reproduced.

Connection: I find that I must apply Skepticism to concepts that deliberately create mystery. This is due to the possibility of people falsifying information to create more confusion and in turn, more mystery.

Connection: When watching advertisements on TV, it can be very difficult to determine which ads are a money grab, and which ones are for genuine helpful causes. UNICEF is one that comes to mind due to the concept of children starving in other countries, and even if people want to help, they may feel Skeptic about it due to the emotional stress it can make people feel.

Connection: Mystical energy provides a concept that can be debunked in some cases, but not all. For example there is the idea that gemstone rocks hold power, but if you try to harness that power within the rock you most likely wont have a magical result.

Connection: The ancient wisdom shown in this picture is markings inside of a pyramid, in which there is writing that proves of ancient wisdom, but doesn't prove that their teachings were accurate.

Connection: I found that my connection could demonstrate exactly what a red herrings intention is. The advertisement for red bull claims that it gives you wings, but what it doesn't tell you is the major health issues it may cause. This shows how a concept can distract from another concept just by relating to a main idea.

Connection: My connection is to Donald Trump, who tends to use a great amount of words to explain his actions, but doesn't quite meet everyone's expectations through his words at times. He uses big sentences and impactful words to distract the audience from other things.

Connection: I have always found the Burt's Bees lip balm to be ridiculously expensive for just a small stick. This is a way that advertisers can use All Natural products to their marketing advantage.

Connection: When I look at this image it looks like it is moving, but if you look at it from a specific angle it stops moving. This is due to the perspective and observation that it gives.

Connection: When somebody has a passing in the family, they may take the death very harshly and start to emotionally connect with the idea that the person who passed may still be around in the afterlife. I believe that I can Recognize Bias from an outside perspective, but if I were in the persons shoes of who passed, I may feel different.

Connection: UFO's have always been a main part of the unexplainable, as the evidence we have collected over the years can neither prove or disprove and sightings. This image shows what a UFO may look like, but there are so many different opinions and ideas on the concept that no one can quite explain it. When viewing UFO's I believe I have to apply Skepticism to what I see and judge based on that perspective.

Connection: Groundhog day is a day that is celebrated yearly where the groundhog will either stay in his hole to prove for a longer winter, or if he comes outside the hole to claim that we will have an early spring. This concept must have Skepticism applied to it due to the fact that the groundhog doesn't always produce accurate results.
