         <description><![CDATA[<div>The climate has wet season and a dry season. Wet season is very long and wet, the dry season very dry and short. During the wet season it only gets down to around 32 degrees, during the dry season it rarely gets above 80 degrees.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Redwood tree: Red wood trees have thick bark which runs vertically to prevent fires and is so thick it acts as if it were a fire proof shell. They have wide spreading roots which spread to about 100 feet and intertwine with other redwoods or tres to increase stability. The bark also acts as a self insulator when its cold.<br><br>Sitka spruce: Sitka Spruce are very tall trees which grow in mild to cold temperature areas like temperate rainforest. The tree also doesn't shed its leaves to keep itself warm for the cold/wet season.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Current threats include mining which clears large amounts of trees to draw minerals from earths soil. Second includes global warming which is very bad for trees, and introduction of new species in environments which shows off other food sources. Lastly is the largest threat and that is deforestation which clearly just kills trees for the resources they provide in mass quantity.</div>]]></description>
