Quarter Two Summary 

            Egg drop, For my egg drop we used 12 inches of string, 1 cotton ball, 1 piece of tape, 1 piece of paper, 1 paper clip, 1 straw, and one egg. Our egg unfortunately cracked. We formed the piece of paper into a cone like structure, to make the pointy end hit the floor before the egg could. We also put the cotton ball at the bottom, then on top of the cotton ball we put the egg, on top of the egg we taped the paper around the egg to act as a barrier. And at the very top we paper clipped the paper shut and put the straw on the side so that if it flipped it would land on the straw and the egg wouldn’t touch. My grade for the egg drop was 85% and that is a great grade considering I broke the egg. We used all the tools properly and put them together in a way we thought they would work. 

            Automotive safety, Safety features are put there to protect us if we get in a car accident. Some safety features in modern cars are air bags, seat belts, side impact bars, collapsible steering wheel, bumper, front crash resistance, and windows. An “impact situation” occurs when two cars collide into each other. I think if I could invent something to make cars safer for people I would invent a softer airbag. The blind spot of the car will tell you if you’re too close to someone. Collision warning will tell you before you hit someone with your car. Pedestrian automatic braking will let people know the car is coming. 

            Technical drawing number one, I got a 9/12 and I think that’s okay because I had a few smudges and double lines. For technical drawing number two I got 9.5/12 and that grade is a little better than the first one, I still had a few smudges but I didn’t have any double lines and no other lines besides the shapes were visible, and I think that is very good. Technical drawing number three the grade I got was an 8.5/12 because there was a lot of lines still visible and I had some parts of the shaped erased, I deserved to get this grade. Technical drawing number four I received a 9.5/12 because there was some lines still visible underneath. For technical drawing number five I got a 10/12 because there was lines still visible.
