Theism is the belief in the existence of a god or gods, especially belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures. This is one of the two opposing world views. Theism gives an explanation for how the universe came to be and gives many human beings a sound moral outlet.

Scientific theism

Theism is the most sound worldview which can explain the "brute facts" of science. These brute facts consist of time moving indefinitely, the creation of the universe, and consciousness. Rationality is an extremely important concept within the idea of consciousness. There can be no rationality if the brain constructs thoughts by atoms simply moving throughout. The reason for brute facts can be solved throughout scientific theism. Time and the universe continue to unravel due to the presence of the supernatural. Without a Creator, human beings would have no way of understanding the universe.

Fall of Naturalism

Naturalism is the philosophical belief that everything arises from natural properties and causes, and supernatural or spiritual explanations are excluded or discounted. Naturalism is fatally flawed. It undermines the foundations of rationality that is needed to construct absolutely any naturalistic belief. Information itself is immaterial and the physical sciences cannot deal with this principle.

A worldview is a comprehensive framework of beliefs, values, perspectives, and assumptions through which an individual or a group interprets and understands the world. The two most popular conflicting worldviews are Theism and Naturalism.

Christianity

Christianity is the religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, or its beliefs and practices. It is also the most widely acclaimed theistic view in the world. Over 2 billion people around the world follow the views of Christianity as well as the bible. Everyone who follows the word of God is guided by a theistic view of the world.

Why is the universe the way it is?

The Bible provides a comprehensive explanation for the scientific intelligibility of the universe and the existence of immaterial information. It attributes the creation of the universe and the conscious mind to a supernatural creator. The understanding of the universe by human beings is clarified by the notion that they are created in the image of God.

Faith driven beliefs

Faith is the complete trust or confidence in someone or something OR strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

It shapes an understanding of the divine, purpose in life, and the nature of existence. Does not need to be a religious belief, as fundamental concepts within science are faith driven as well. They are more similar than most would think as they are also built upon evidence.
