Red shouldered hawks have a beak that is yellow at the top and black at the bottom.The tip is slightly curved.It is also short into its face.Some of the things that it eats is small rabbits,squirrels and crayfish.It is very unlike Great horned owls.the Great horned owl has a beak that curves a lot.It is usually black or brown.Some of the things it eats are skunks and Canadian geese.

Some of the ways that they are alike is, they both have short beaks.They both are curved and have a sharp beak point.They both eat small mammals like birds.They both eat snakes, turtles, frogs and insects.One of the differences is they have different colored beaks.Although they are alike in a lot of ways Great horned owls eat skunks and geese and Red shouldered Hawks eat crayfish, rabbits and squirrels.

Unlike a great horned owl a red shouldered hawk eat's small animals the size of a squirrel. On the other hand a great horned owl eat's small animal's the size of a wood chip.However a Red shouldered hawk's beak is sharp and curved both bird's beak's are curved and both of the bird's eat mammals.

Horned owls have brown feathers,although red hawks have brown feathers too they also have red feathers.The birds also have very similar beaks.A horned owl has a curved beak just like a red hawk but a red hawk has some yellow in there beak but both the owls and the hawks beak is short and there beak is sharp so they can pick up mammals.Red hawks are not that big but horned owls are very big!!red hawks eat small mammals and bugs but horned owls eat big mammals. Although both birds hunt owls are nocturnal which means they hunt at night while red hawks hunt at day time.Horned owls can be found at woodland habitats when most people in North Carolina have seen a red hawk before.Red hawks have a two part call while i'm pretty sure horned owls just make a hoot sound.Horned owls can not move there eyes to see different directions but they can move there head all the way around!!!!! That is all the different and alike thing of the red hawk and the horned owl.The End!!!!!!

Even though the great horned owl and the red shouldered hawk have similar sized beaks ,and both beaks are sharp.There are differences.Like how there curved true there both curved ,but actually the great horned owl's beak is much more curved.It starts curving in the begging. however/the red shouldered hawk's beak starts curving in the end,same with the color of the beaks.Fun fact the color is black,but even though the great horned owl and the red shouldered hawk have similar sized beaks they eat different animals.Some of the foods the great horned owl eats are Canadian geese,or any kind of reptile

The Red Shoulder hawk beak is curved and is yellow and black.The bottom of the Red Shoulder hawk is curved on its belly .It's wings are very small.The Horned owl has big wings.The food it eats is mammals up to the of a wood chuck.They both eat birds.Both of their body's are big.The Horned owl is different from the the Red Shoulder hawk because the Horned owl eats small mammals up to the size of a squirrel.They have many differinces and simmalarities.

The great hornd owl and the red sholder hawk both have curved beaks.They both eat birds and small mamills.The red sholder hawk has a small beak.unlike the great hornd owl.the great horned owls botem part of the beak is flat.It has a sharped curved beak.It will also eat pray up to the size of wood chukes.

The Great Horned Owl has a black beak . It's beak is curved longer than the red shouldered hawk . Although they both eat animals , the great Horned owl eats larger animals than the Red Shouldered Hawk. The Red Shouldered Hawk has a yellow and black beak. The hawk has two holes in it's beak unlike the owl.

They both have sharp beaks. they both eat mammals and insects.

The red shouldered hawk and the great horned owl have similarities and differences. The red shouldered hawk has a beak and its short but sharp to grab and tear meat from the animal. Its beak has a blackish yellowish tone to it with a little bit of white on its beak.The red shouldered hawk weighs about 1.5 lbs. But the great horned owl weighs 53 oz.
