Although both birds hunt owls are nocturnal which means they hunt at night while red hawks hunt at day time.Horned owls can be found at woodland habitats when most people in North Carolina have seen a red hawk before.Red hawks have a two part call while i'm pretty sure horned owls just make a hoot sound.Horned owls can not move there eyes to see different directions but they can move there head all the way around!!!!! That is all the different and alike thing of the red hawk and the horned owl.The End!!!!!!
