This sentence likens the number of waves rolling talking to each other.
3. “My heart was stabbed when I saw you smiling at her.” (Hiperbole)
This sentence seems to exaggerate something to create a feeling with the words as if they stabbed. The essence of this sentence is to express a painful feeling when she sees her partner smiling with other people.
4. “My mother's smile is the goddess of the night in the night sky.” (Metaphor)
In this sentence, there is an implicit meaning, namely that the goddess of the night is the moon that illuminates the darkness. Expressing that mother's smile is like the moon that can light when I fall in a dark place, has failed.
5. “My father is the Superman of my life.” (Allusion)
The sentence explains that Superman is a super man who likes to help and protect others, so he is called a hero. In essence, dad is the super man and hero of my life because he is tireless in protecting his family.
6. “The taste of my wife’s tea and chamomile blend brings me back to the past when my mother was around.” (Imagery)
This sentence uses words that can create an immediate picture of the writing. The essence of the sentence is that drinking a mixture of tea and chamomile made by his wife can remind his mother's tea too. With the flashback, it can be seen that there are feelings of longing, sadness, and joy mixed.
