It can be transmitted by having vaginal, or oral sex with someone who has the infection. As well as having contact with a herpes sore, an interaction of saliva from a partner with an oral herpes infection and genital fluids. There are no symptoms for genital herpes but there are mild symptoms like an outbreak or sores around the skin, lining of the mouth, vagina or rectum. This disease has no cure but it can be treated with daily anti-herpes medicine and it can lower risks of spreading the virus towards others.
