Surprisingly it was a pretty simple and fun. In my past I basically grew up in my grandmothers tiny house filled to the brink with other family members that spoke Hmong. I had to undergo a stressful and aggravating process of remembering 2 languages, English and Hmong. One point I would be at school speaking with friends of multiple races and ethnicities with English, and then I would be speaking Hmong with all my family. These unique symbols were sometimes found on hmong paintings leading back to the Vietnam war or they could be on a painting of Hmong people tending to the fields.
