But words can have an impact

King delivered joy with only words and tact 

Our slow going struggle may have yet brought gain

In this seemingly infinites strife, 

We must remain strong

And not stop till freedom rings like a gong

Words can bring peace and words can stab deep like a knife

If one man’s words can cause this much hope, 

THink of what we could all do standing together

Bring the weight of injustice to less than that of a feather 

We shall rise above injustice like our children to a jump rope

We fight not for tolerance, but for victory

So perhaps his dream can come true

And if not we go down with this ship as its crew. 

For America’s and ours agendas are contradicting.
