My friend Emaleigh and I attended a church camp in North Carolina two years ago. She took me because she knew my family wasn't religious, and she wanted me to hear Jesus' name. When I was there, I met a girl just like me. Her name was Desirea, and she wasn't too religious either. By the time camp was over, I watched her transform. She truly inspired me to make positive changes.

Weiden is a small city/town in Bavaria that I absolutely adore. Though it in no way represented Germany as a whole, it felt like my own little piece of the country every time I went. It never got boring and was always foreign-like and beautiful. It's where my bestfriend lives.

I chose East Islip in New York because that's where a large portion of my extended family lives, and definitely the town I've spent the most time in besides Williamsburg and its surrounding areas. It's such a great representation of New York to me- a lot of people with crappy attitudes, but underneath all of that, a lot of positives too. Most importantly, amazing food.

My name is Margot S., and I chose Roanoke Virginia because it is the most significant place to me. This is where I spent most of my childhood up until I was 9 years old. I haven't been back very much since and I often miss the familiar feeling of being there. All of the places I have lived have not been as cool as Roanoke because I love the mountains and the city.
