Spotlight is an industry wide used platform for viewing and being submitted for auditions. I plan on updating my details and photos as and when necessary. I also plan on adding my dance reel to my spotlight once I have filmed one.

I chose this photographer as his pictures on his Instagram fitted the photography style I enjoy and could see my self suiting his type of shots.

In these current times on this industry Instagram and other social media networks are used majorly. In some cases casting directors will look at peoples Instagram's to gage if they will be suitable for the job. As well as this by posting dance content on Instagram it can create potential job opportunities as it is easy to access and view videos of your abilities. This is the reason I plan on making my Instagram more professional and also dance content. I have made a start to this by setting my profile picture as a professionally taken head shot.

As well as a full show reel, I would also like to film dance clips professionally for my Instagram to make it more professional.

I am planning on booking a shoot with Rob Jamieson in the future. I really enjoy his style of photography and how he captures each person he is photographing. I especially like how he edits and posts the majority of his photos in black and white. I think this gives a mature and professional feel to the photos and will be perfect additions to my portfolio.

When looking into agency's I took into account the jobs I would like to get. My dream job is to be a dancer on a cruise. Therefore I looked at agents that had a lot of dancers on their books that are working or have worked on cruises.

Once I have filmed my showr eel I plan on sending a copy of it to the agency's I wish to be considered by.

To make sure I don't miss any opportunity to get in the room at cruise auditions. I have joined a Facebook group where people post open cruise auditions. This way can ensure I am always kept informed and give my self a greater opportunity to succeed.

• something to film my self tape with (phone or camera)

• speaker for music

• a studio or other space to record self tape

• good lighting

I plan on listening to my body and will consult a physio if I am having any major concerns.

I would like my part time job to be an active job that is related to dance or fitness. This is ideal as it will keep my fitness from detreating and I will enjoy the work I am doing.
