Thinking can be taught with many variations of ideas such as practicing and self-discipline.Through practicing, your mind will be self-trained and confident when facing a problems.
It is depends on us on how to teach our mind to become lousy/active and punctuality as our normal ways of life.We have our own power to change that whether you want it or not.
Some of a routine is as follows:

Help yourself to realize everything is infinitely complex when you see information as a matter of perspective (this causes an endless chain of other realizations if you’re willing to consider it long enough).

Make sure you're hearing “something” in multiple times in multiple ways from multiple perspectives and voices.

Make sure you can explain the significance of an idea, skill, or other academic topic.

Resources:
https://www.teachthought.com/critical-thinking/how-students-learn/
