Time management when it comes to groups is huge as well as communication when something else comes up. I think in order for any group to do well there needs to be communication on any issues you are facing that can impact the grade of the group members. If you have an emergency or have to take some personal time I think it is best to let your group know right away rather than wait till the last minute to let people know about your situation, that way we will have enough time to move around the workload to ensure everything is done.

I think it's important to help highlight and encourage people to do what they're best at to work most efficiently instead of everyone working on the same thing which can be confusing and conflicting.

An important guideline for groups would be to put an equal effort in any project or group assignment. As well as participating just as much as your peers. Everyone has busy schedules which is understandable, but if everyone sets a goal of who does what, then everyone just has to focus on that specific role. And in that way, everyone only does a fraction of the work, and the final result will often be amazing when everyone collaborates an equal share of work or thought process!

remember that you have to be considerate of other students' time. when we have to work in a group and meet on Zoom calls, we have to remember that time is valuable, it is hard enough to find a time when all students in a group agree to meet on a specific day and time due to their availability. so we have to use that time wisely and get things done at the beginning with no distractions or drifting off-topic. after the work is complete that wouldn't be a problem.

Group projects are a fantastic way to get to know one another especially in asynchronous settings, however, we must value each other’s time. Being in a group should include respect for every member and compromise to each member’s needs where there is a middle ground to be found. There should also be clear communication between all group members that perfectly states who is in charge of what to prevent duplicates. Responses from team members should also be conducted in a timely manner and shouldn’t be ignored as it can be frustrating.

Many of us have other obligations outside of school like work, family, etc. For this reason, it's important that we have patience while working with our classmates. Though patience is important, I also think it's crucial to have open communication. As someone who works six days a week and attends school full time, I am very busy. This does not prevent me from alerting others ahead of time if I will be busy. In order to effectively complete our assignments, we must be able to communicate with others and have patience while working with everyone's schedule.

Hello everyone! One essential recommendation for groups is to make sure that the work is equally divided. It is difficult to ensure a specific time for group member's to participate on a project, so most do their portion on their own time. I have found that many groups have members who go above and beyond with the assignment and do much of the work. This leads to minimal work remaining for the rest of the group members. These other members may stress over this, while others will take advantage of this. Be mindful of this guideline and try to implement it in your future groups!
