Religion is always a powerful and sensitive subject. Human thinking can be dangerous and off track. And it is never easy to tap into, not to mention to chnage the way how people think.

Not to paint a rosy picture, it is interesting to learn that there have been cases of relapse and the mentors have to be mindful not to be influenced by the detainees the other way round.

We all know the importance of plans and developing relationships in peacetime. But unless it's a very well resourced team, most people will be trying to plan while dealing with active incidents.

May need to see how to set aside people or protected blocks of time to study the plans, so that people can switch mindset

To give them the headspace to really examine the plans. red-team to spot gaps, and identify the 'who/what else am I missing'. Community groups, government and non government partners, stakeholders. Then work towards plugging those gaps.

Useful to think about the plans and training for post-incident recovery, from managing public comms to supporting officers and families of victims, as well as setting aside bandwidth to deal with the day to day incidents even as we do post-incident recovery

These however are not naturally occurring and requires deliberate actions, attention and resources.
