Started my week with an amazing group of girls, and made it to all of my classes on time this week. I am also a business major in entrepreneurship.

Convocation was very informal. I enjoyed listening to each Dean's speeches. I went to convocation with my friends, we all stayed til the end to receive our coins. The coins that were given to us are an Ole Miss tradition.

I was so happy when my mom surprised me with a visit to Ole Miss for the weekend. Seeing her after being away at school felt amazing, and we immediately started planning our time together. We explored the campus, reminiscing about my experiences and creating new memories. Her presence made the weekend feel extra special, and I cherished every moment we spent together.

I had a fantastic time going to the bar with my sorority sisters for our event. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone was excited to unwind and enjoy each other's company. I was so happy when my parents came up to Ole Miss to watch the football game with me. The energy in the stadium was electric, and having them there made it even more special. After the game, we strolled through The Grove, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. It felt great to share these cherished traditions with my family, creating lasting memories together. Their visit truly made the weekend unforgettable, and I loved every moment we spent together.

I feel so lucky that my friend Nathan from back home decided to come to college with me. Having him by my side has made the transition to university life so much easier and more enjoyable. We always have a blast together, especially when we attend the football games. Cheering for our team and sharing the excitement with him creates some of my favorite memories. I’m grateful to have a friend like Nathan to experience this journey with!

I take Ubers everywhere around campus, making it super convenient to get from one place to another. One day, I got lucky enough to meet an Uber driver who had a dog with him. He kindly let me hold his adorable pup, and it instantly brightened my day. I loved getting to cuddle with the dog while we chatted about our favorite spots on campus. That unexpected moment made my usual Uber rides feel even more special!

Carnation Ball

Carnation Ball was a date party my sorority hosted a few weeks ago. Our theme was green formal wear, and our dates had to wear pledge attire. The girls in these pictures are all my closest friends in Alpha Chi. We went to the Yard at Harrisons. Then, after our date party, we all went back to the house and then back to Crosby.

On weekends, I head out to the square in Oxford, Mississippi, with friends. We’ll explore the vibrant atmosphere, meeting new people along the way. After some good conversations, we plan to grab dinner at one of the local restaurants. The charm of the square, with its beautiful shops and lively ambiance, always makes for a great evening. I can’t wait to soak in all of Oxford's delightful experiences!

Over these past months of being here, I've met This girl, Emma. We have decided to live together next year. She is an Alpha Chi as well. We have signed applications to College Town, Domain, and Faulkner Flatts. Im so excited to live with her next year.

I’m so so happy to have been initiated into Alpha Chi Omega at Ole Miss! This milestone feels like a dream come true, and I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive sisterhood. The bonds I’ve formed with my sisters make me feel right at home. I’m excited to participate in our events and contribute to our community. Being an Alpha Chi Omega means so much to me, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Halloween

The Halloween parties over the weekend were an absolute blast! I dressed up as Felix from the movie Saltburn, and it was so much fun to channel his character. My friend Mia looked amazing as a NASCAR driver, complete with a racing suit and a cap. We spent the night dancing, laughing, and enjoying all the creative costumes around us. It was great to see everyone embracing the spirit of Halloween in their unique ways. These parties made for unforgettable memories and a fantastic start to the Halloween season!

PINK

I decided to dye my hair pink to show support for my mom, who’s been bravely fighting breast cancer, and I had my friend Abby help me with the process. We spent the day together, picking the perfect shade of pink and carefully applying it, knowing how much it would mean to my mom. The next day, after the dye had set and I saw the vibrant color, I couldn't wait to surprise her. When she saw my new hair, her face lit up with joy, and it felt so good to share that moment with her. It was a small but meaningful gesture to show my love and solidarity during such a tough time.

For my 19th birthday, I went to dinner with my best friends at an Italian restaurant called Saint Leo. We all shared a pizza and salads, which were very good. After dinner, we went out on the square for the night until it got really late then we all went back to my dorm and hung out for a couple of hours. There wasn't really anything else fun that happened on that day.

I really missed my friends Jack and Remy, especially since we hadn't hung out in a while. When I finally got home, they were both super excited to see me, and it felt like no time had passed at all. We decided to spend the day together, so we went shopping and had a blast trying on clothes and picking out random things. Afterward, we grabbed lunch at our favorite spot, laughing and catching up on everything. It was the perfect day, and I was so glad to be back with them again.

My friend Remy is an really good photographer, and she always knows how to capture the beauty of a place. One day, she took me to this cute little village called Highland Park, where we wandered around, snapping pictures of the charming streets and unique shops. It was such a peaceful and picturesque spot, and Remy’s eye for detail made everything look even more beautiful through her lens. After exploring the village, we headed to MiCosina for dinner, where we enjoyed some delicious food and great conversation. It was a perfect day spent with a talented friend, and I loved every moment of it.

my mom

My mom has been losing her hair due to chemotherapy, and it’s been a tough journey for her. She decided that it was time to shave it all off, but she wanted to wait until I came home for Thanksgiving break to do it together. When I finally arrived, we shared the moment, and I helped her shave her head. Surprisingly, it looked so much better than we both expected. It felt freeing and empowering rather than sad. Now, she’s embracing her new look with confidence, and I’m proud of how strong and beautiful she is through it all.
