  • The Soviet Union was beyond infuriated with their loss to the United States, and after they worked harder to try to become superior. They built up their military and weapons, all in hopes of not having to be defeated once again.
  • The United States got lots of benefits and created tension with the jealousy from the Soviet Union. Benefits that the United States got consisted of pride, gracious words from other countries, and they became a higher priority for funds.
  • When the time came and other countries wanted to advance to other countries, the Soviet Union wanted to still be better and stronger than the other militaries.

  • NASA has been able to gain a large amount of attention since they’ve been around. Their company and technology has flourished and developed  since the Space Race significantly and continues to work on new types of crafts and ways they can send people to space.
  • With learning new knowledge, specifically revolving around spacecrafts and how we can get people into space, new computers have been made with updates and new types of technology
  • More scientific ways and computers have been discovered that make difficult calculations and in more quick and efficient ways since the Space Race happened.
