I feel as thought I would have researched this topic sooner if I hadn't been sure that to anyone, but me, my best friend was wholly misunderstood. When this project was assigned I was shocked at how quickly I chose ODD and Conduct Disorder. I've certainly found some peace in the fact that the adults surrounding him could make an accurate diagnosis, but their application of treatment was well below the standard of TedTalk intellectuals even YouTube therapists. I had first chosen to focus on ODD alone, knowing that that was my brother's plight. However, upon listening to many of the videos posted here, it was obvious the child they were describing was my friend, and it was made clear that without adequate help the next evolution of his behavior could very well be the symptoms of the more sever Conduct Disorder. 

After finally getting expelled from school, I feared what life would be like for him without my supervision, guidance and informed dialogue with the adults around him. At that time I had little contact with him and couldn't confirm for myself that he was being remediated. I was hoping to quell my fears with this research...
