As a child I started doing taekwondo at 4 but then I stopped after I reached purple belt then I continued again when I was 7 with my friends and now I'm a first degree black belt. I went to St. Philomena which is in Carson and I've been there from kindergarten to 8th grade. At around 5th grade I decided to join sports, we had volleyball in the fall and track in the spring, we only had track for a year since the teacher who was the coach left the school. I continued to play volleyball up until 7th grade, then in 8th grade I decided to join a dance team which was outside of school. I was in the dance team for less than a year since my mother made me quit, and I still have no idea why she did that. I really loved dancing, I actually wanted to become a figure skater at one point, but my mother would never let me do anything I wanted. It felt weird like not normal since we were all used to school being online, my goal for this school year is that I would like to maintain my high grades and join more clubs to meet new people and a new community instead of staying in the small little friend group I have. I would also like to stay in my honors classes instead of dropping them to go back to regular classes midway. For my personal goal I would like to start working out and being more active.
