What changes occurred and what were the outcomes?

At the turn of the 20th cen. U.S. pop.was growing very fast and most

people were moving to cities.As they grew there was a greater demand for food.Many people moved into cities to work in factories.Urbanization also also produced more consumer goods.

Many people were coming to America for a better life. While this was happening Americans were upset because immigrants were getting jobs and American jobs were taken. Immigrants were treated unfairly and were blamed for a lot of the problems going on in America. Americans were upset because they were having a hard time finding work for themselves while people from other countries were finding work easily

They seem mean and no one is welcome and the little  people that get to come are worked more than Americans and don't get paid as much

Lot of immigrant were coming to America   for a better life but they were mistreated by who already were here .and the immigrants were blamed for lot of problems going on America .and Americans wanted to make the immigrants leave because they were taking Americans jobs and their language ,life style ,culture were different.

The U.S. at this time could be described as growing, urban, industrialized, and segregated. The growing industrial jobs in the U.S. brought large numbers of immigrants to the country. Large numbers of them settled in the cities to work in the factories located there. By the 1920s this caused the U.S. to become an urban, industrialized nation. At the same time that same industry was producing better transportation within the cities which allowed the wealthy to move further away from the poor.

Who is and who isn't valued?

The Immigrants are not welcomed and the people that came work more than Americans and don't get paid as much so that's not being equal so they are not valued.

 The U.S. at this time could be described as growing population and very segregated. Because of new jobs opening brought many immigrants. Many immigrants settled in the cities to work in the factories. During the same point of time many different industry was producing better transportation in the cities which allowed the rich to move far away from the poor.

At the turn of the 20th century population was growing very fast and most people were living in cities. As cities grew there was a greater demand for food, but with industry fewer people were needed to farm. Many people moved to cities to work in factories. Urbanization also created more consumer goods. the main reason for this population growth was immigration. most immigrants lived in the two largest U.S. cities New York and Chicago.

America was best described during this time as the population grew and more people were moving to cities. There was also a greater demand for agricultural products, but with industrialization, fewer people needed to grow food. Another reason why people moved to cities because of jobs in factories and urbanization created more inventions and consumer goods.

Many immigrants were moving to the U.S. for job opportunities. Immigrants had been coming to work on mines and railroads but they were viewed differently because they looked and spoke differently. Also, Chinese and Asian immigrants were looked down up and they had to face discrimination. In the late 1800’s in San Francisco, Asians weren’t allowed to be educated until the Supreme Court forced a law that allowed them the chance to become educated. Even after this law was passed, they still created segregated schools so the immigrants wouldn’t be in the same schools as the U.S. citizens. Chinese and Asian immigrants were treated with no respect. As the Chinese and Asians began immigrating, many Americans became highly upset that immigrants were taking jobs while many Americans were loosing theirs. The Americans were angry because immigrants and people from other countries were finding jobs easier than they could for themselves.

Many immigrants came to the U.S. for job opportunities, and were willing to work harder and put in more labor then most Americans. Americans discriminated against immigrants because they were different then Americans. U.S. citizens discriminated against immigrants, for example in San Francisco, in the late 1800's, they would not allow immigrants to be educated and even after the Supreme Court issued a law to provide education for these immigrants, San Francisco created segregated schools.  While Americans were upset because immigrants were taking all of their jobs.

At this time American immigrating in the U.S.grow and immigrating went in industries and labor the more industrial power. which give more consumers good as the german went from forming and moved to big cities like New York and Chicago.

Well populations skyrocketed, cities grew, we became a more urbanized country, we had a new influx of immigrants, and Ireland was dying from having too few potatoes.

The outcomes were people moving away from the cities, but immigrants moving towards them. People moved away because of the lack of food, but immigrants moved towards them for the food. There was a new huge demand for food, and we became the worlds largest industrial power.

Americans whose ancestors immigrant generation before, considered themselves the true Americans. They are compelled to be more hostile to the new commer. Which led them to forms anti-immigrants such as the No Nothing Party, The Ku Klux Klan and the Working Men Party they were flourish to intimidate and terrorize foreign born. Even those the congress passed the Anti-immigration discrimination law, fear and hostile to the new immigrations, congress later passed the Chinese Exclusion Act. Which prohibited Chinese immigration into the United States. I think these chinese were not persecuted not for their sin but for their faithful and loyal.

America was best described during this time was a lot of population growth. From immigrates coming to the US looking for better jobs and new lives. In 1880 only 20% of people lived in the city by 1920 68% or people lived in citys.

The immigrants weren't valued during this time period. They weren't treated as equal to the American people. They were treated different because they looked different, and they spoke different languages. They also wasn't valued because they caused great population growth. Due to the population growth a lot of things started to change. A lot of the immigrants who moved there worked in the factories along with American people. Immigrants didn't get paid as much as the American people. So that goes to show you that the Immigrants weren't valued as much as the American people.

The different side of the story starts with with the Americans. When the Industrialization started getting big in America the cities population started sky rocketing. Even though Americans were lazy and didn't really want to do the work, they still complained about all the immigrants taking the jobs. The immigrants basically did the job the Americans didn't want to. With the industry job field booming, more factories opened and the wealthy families were able to move farther away from the poor.

Population was growing everywhere. Many People had moved toward the Western area. of people from Europe. They were most valued. Germans were known as artisans. They mostly stayed in the city. Owning business, and transforming into rural/urban. On the Eastern side; people in Asia where moving for gold. They were judge, and mistreated by America at this time. America most felt they had more power,because American urbanization produced more consumers goods.

The urbanization helped create more inventions and consumer goods. Quality of transportation increased which made it easier for the rich people to move away from the poor.
