I am based in the UK. I trained in epidemiology and have worked on trials in a variety of healthcare settings in both low- and high-income settings. My current research is focussed on preventing violence against women in collaboration with colleagues at the Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit in Tanzania. 
I am also a registered nurse and work in primary care here in the UK.

I am medical doctor, a licensed medical technologist, and an MBA graduate in the Philippines, with public health background. Currently I’ve been working on clinical trials since the start of the pandemic at the Philippine General Hospital. My role in these studies is mostly as subinvestigator but I have gained experiences as clinical research coordinator as well. Most of my knowledge about clinical trials were learned from experiences in study implementation at our site, from start-up until the end of trial. 
 
One interest in this field is to be involved in the design and conceptualizing protocols of clinical trials.

I initially applied and got accepted under the Clinical Epidemiology course last 2020. However, due to the pandemic, I had to put that dream on hold and as fate would have it, I was involved in clinical trials and got derailed for a few years.

However, this year, I decided to get back on track and pursue my MSc dream. Only this time, I decided to shift to Clinical Trials because I feel that I can really use what I will learn and translate it to my career as a principal investigator.
