North Korea supported by USSR and China. South Korea supported by United States. North Korea invaded South Korea to unify them through Communism, ended in 1953 after a non-formal treaty splitting South Korea and North Korea in half.

Vietnam War

Fight between North Vietnam, supported by Soviet Union vs South Vietnam supported by the United States. Started from North Vietnam trying to invaded South Vietnam to unify them under Communism. Ended when the U.S. having many causality's backed out in 1973, causing South Vietnam to be fully invaded by North Vietnam.

Congo Crisis

Fight between the Republic of Congo, supported by the United States, against the secessionist states, supported by the Soviet Union and Belgium. Started because of the Force Publique near Léopoldville and Belgium dropping paratroopers in to protect the people of Belgium. The war ended with the Republic of Congo winning, by leaving Belgium.

Angolan Civil War

United States supports Rebel leader Savimbi, against the government (MPLA) supported by the Soviet Union. Started after gaining independence from Portugal, causing many new government groups to form. (MPLA), (FNLA), and (UNITA). In the end the MPLA held their ground and lead Angola after the war.

Soviet-Afghan War

Soviet Union invades Afghanistan to spread Communism. Afghanistan aka the Mujahideen is supported by United states. Soviet forces wanted to stabilize Afghan economy by bringing them into Communism. They eventually retreated after facing many casualties against the Mujahideen and United States together.
