A little boy grew up there around the time that segregation was going on and that little boy was named Martin Luther King Jr. Jamestown was the founder of Martin’s home which is the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, Jamestown found Martin’s home on May 13, 1607, this is very interesting to me because Martin Luther King Jr. is a spokesmen/leader in the civil rights movement from 1954 until his death in 1968, According to the “National Park Service” website.

So, later on that day I was walking in the park taking a look at the rest of the National historical park and a group of students ran up to me and said “You don’t belong here you are not allowed.” Then, I saw a good friend of mine named Taylor that happened to know those group of students so, she told them “Hey, stop messing with my friend he is allowed to go wherever he would like stop messing with him because we just happen to be very good friends.”

But, now that we are looking back in the past Martin Luther King Jr., will forever be in our memories and our hearts for being there for us during segregation. Also, one delicious part of the visit was at the exit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park they had a basket full of juicy sweet peaches inside of a plastic bag with Martin Luther King Jr.’s face on it, in memorization of the love Martin Luther King Jr. has given to us.
