Do you want to simplify yourself? Well now you can shed those unwanted numbers by finding your equivalent, simplified self. Simply find a common factor for both your numerator and denominator and divide by that form of 1 (2/2, 3/3, 4/4, etc). But wait, you can also shed those unwanted numbers another way. Simply draw yourself as an area model, make equal groups with your pieces, and rewrite yourself in simplest form. Act now before you miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Dear Baker,Hello my name is Choco and I am a pan of brownies. I know people just love to dive into me before I am cool and then I crumble and my pieces don't end up being fair for all so I want to give you some directions so that I can be shared equally and fairly. 1. Let me cool. 2. Cut me vertically in the middle down along the longest side of the pan. 3. Take each of those long pieces and make a vertical cut in the middle of each of them. You should now have 4 equal pieces that are long and skinny. 4. Rotate the pan 45 degrees and now cut the pan vertially in half. 5. Cut each of those halves in half vertically. You should now have 16 equal size pieces which is a fair share. Thank you,Sincerely, Choco

Hey there Mr. Baker,

Oreo, chocolate chip brownie here. I heard you needed some help making a fair share. Read carefully. If you skip a step, things could go terribly wrong.

Step 1: You must decide how many people would like to share with. let's just say 8 to be safe.

Step 2: First, use a measuring tape to find the half-way point, vertically.

Step 3: Use a big, sharp knife to cut through the delicious layers at the half way mark. When finished there should be two equal shares.

Step 4: Measure with the tape to find the half-way point horizontally.

Step 5: Once again, you'll need the big, sharp knife to cut straight down at the half-way mark. Please, try not to hurt me. There should be four equal shares now. Each equal share represents a fourth.

Step 6: You should be getting the hang of things now. You'll need that big, sharp knife once again. But, be gentle. You need to find the half-way mark of each fourth and cut vertically down at that half-way mark. Once repeated four times. You should now have eighths, or eight equal parts.

Step 7: Share all the gooey goodness!

Good evening all my fellow pizza makers! Today I'm here to talk to you all about creating fair shares of your favorite thing. Can you guess what it is?... PIZZA! So, are you ready? When you are creating fair shares their are some very important steps that we have to take and I'm here to teach you exactly what to do so that you can make sure your pizza is cut so that it can be shared fairly. So, let's get started. When creating fair shares we want to follow these steps:Step 1- First you want to determine the how many people are sharing the pizza. we want to make sure that we have enough pizza for everyone.Step 2- Then we want to partition the pizza into that number of equal parts ( 8 people = 8 equal parts). Remember we want to make sure that everyone gets an equal amount.Step 3- Once you are done partitioning the pizza, then you will give everyone their FAIR SHARE! Step 4- Enjoy! All your hard work has paid off. I hope you enjoyed my informational session on how to create fair shares. Thank you for participating and enjoy the rest of your DAY!
