         <title>Definition of Task Analysis</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Task analysis is an evidence-based strategy based on behavioral principles where a larger task is broken down into sequenced steps. Teachers can use these steps to break down a larger task for a student, determine which step the student struggles on, and teach specific steps in part or as a whole. Teachers can provide prompts throughout all steps of the task analysis except the last step, in which the student would complete the last step themselves (referred to as backward chaining). Or, the teacher can have the perform the steps by themselves from the beginning and provide prompts as needed (referred to as forward chaining). <a href="https://www.iidc.indiana.edu/pages/applied-behavior-analysis">Here is a good resources for Task Analysis definition</a>.  <br><br>I can use Task Analysis to teach APA formatting to students.<br><br>Below is a video example of a Task Analysis. </div>]]></description>
