There are 4 question types
type1: SET A/B/N - what most of the ucat is made of. General structure is that you are going to have 2 sets. Set A 6 boxes with similar patterns which link together same with B but they are separate sets. With each set you are going to get 5 test shapes. The test shapes are what is different between type 1 and 4. It is going to ask you "what set does this belong to?"
type 2: Complete the series

type 3: complete the statement

type 4: different and slightly harder. You still get set a and b. But instead of getting 1 test shape, you get 4 different test shapes and ask you which one belongs to set A or B etc? techniques are the same!! and process

Medology process for SetA/B questions:
50 seconds: work out the pattern in set A and set B
20 seconds: Match the test shapes to the sets

Don't be afraid to move on and just guess the set of questions if it seems too hard and is taking too long. Guess, flag and move on

You have 70 seconds per set, instead of thinking about it as 14 sec per question
You can spend 50 seconds figuring out the pattern and then the next 20 seconds easily and quickly finding answers now that the pattern has been established

pretty often the 2 sets are opposites - that should be the number one thing you check with the other set if you mange to figure out the pattern for the first set (i.e. if the opposite is true for it)
