Dynamic, Static, Flat, Round, Protagonist, Antagonist ;

Dynamic: is when a character changes throughout the story.
Static: is when a character stays the same throughout the whole story.
Flat: is when you don’t know much about them (e.g. a background character.
Round; is a character that we know a lot about.
Protagonist: is the main character of the story (e.g. Harry Potter)
Antagonist: is usually against the protagonist (e.g. Lord Voldemort)

There are four types of characters that describe how character change  throughout the story and their personality Dynamic, Flat, Round and static.
Also characters use STEAL which stands for Speech, Thoughts, Emotion, Actions and Looks. 
The protagonist is a character that drives the plot/story, they move the story forward they are most typically the main character and they can be the “hero” of the story but not necessarily. 

The antagonist aren’t necessarily the villains and don’t always mean to have conflict between the protagonist and the antagonist.

A dynamic character is a character that changes through out the story.

Static character.
A static character is the opposite of a dynamic character because they have very little or no change through out the story

Flat and round character.
A flat character is a person you dont know much about and round character are complex and can not be summed up easily.

Protagonist.
A protagonist is the main character and the hero or moto of the story.

Antagonist.
Is a person or thing that is the bad guy or the problem.
