         <description><![CDATA[<div>Symptoms of Tuberculosis: Symptoms can range from several different types for this disease. They can be coughing for three works or more, coughing up blood or mucus. Some people will also complain of chest pain or pain upon inspiration. Unintentional weight loss and fatigue also has been reported. After being diagnosed with this disease, people have complained of having night sweats &amp; loss of appetite. This particular disease also can infect not only the lungs but also the kidneys and the spine, with back pain and Hematuria also known as blood in the urine.<br><br>Preventions for this particular disease is in the form of being given the vaccine of BCG, which is currently the only licensed vaccine in use since 1921. This is also the most widely used vaccine worldwide.&nbsp;<br><br>T.B. as it is most commonly known, is acquired by a type of bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is spread by an individual with active T.B. of the lungs and this individual coughs or sneezes and someone else inhales the expelled droplets which contain the T.B. Bacteria.<br><br>The treatment for a person with T.B. is a combination of antibacterial medications for a time period of 6-12 months. For the patient that has active T.B. the treatment is ionized INH in combination with three other drugs. These drugs are usually Rifamin, Pyrazinamide, &amp; ethambutol.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
