I am just as impatient sometimes so I feel like it has a connection to me

My favorite myth was “How Ganesh Got His Elephant Head” because I liked how loyal Ganesh was to Parvati by never thinking about going against her orders and willingly risking his life to allow no one in. One of the messages of this myth is to stand for what you believe in because the gods were trying to get Ganesh to move out of the way, but Ganesh didn't allow it and had to fight them to protect Parvati. I like the story because Ganesh had good intentions for his actions and was able to stay with Parvati at the very end.

My favorite folktale was how Ganesh got his elephant head I liked this one because I like the message that the story was trying to convey. In this story Ganesh stays loyal to family and does not let the gods convince him to do otherwise. I also like how in the end he is rewarded for his loyalty because when someone is rewarded for something it encourages people to be like that person. Ganesh was a good person so that is a good example.

My favorite folktale was Why Anansi Has Eight Thin Legs because the morals of it are less thought about however they are very important. For example there are many stories about treating people well but there are not many that tell you to not over exert yourself. In addition I think this story conveys it's moral very well by showing how the webs represent commitment and how too many of them can pull you apart.

The moral to the story is to not be greedy and I feel like that is one of the best morals because it would help the world so much if people were not so greedy.
My favorite folktale is "The Man Who Never Lied" just because It teaches us a very important lesson for the future or even now. He was able to show who the king really was and how horrible he was he didn't need to lie about it. But I also think he trying to show us that we have no reason to lie because it will take us no where in life. But he was able to show the King's true color and how he really was no matter what he wanted to prove it so people would believe him.

My favorite folktale was “How Ganesh Got His Elegant Head” because the loyalty Ganesh showed to Parvati was admirable and quite heartwarming. In that Ganesh was even willing to sacrifice himself trying to ensure her privacy.

My favorite folktale was Why the Sun and the Moon Live in the Sky" it was interesting to read because it wasn't something serious and it was silly. It was short therefore the author fit only entertaining events in the story. It was a goofy story with a great message you can appreciate.

My favorite folktale was "Why Anansi has eight thin legs" because I liked the message that was presented. Anansi didn't realize how lucky he was to even have one person want to cook for him even if it meant doing a job or two. Anansi got greedy and was grateful for what he had in the moment and it eventually caught up to him.

Adding on I like how I can think of this story in multiple perspectives/ways between the water and sun.

My favorite myth is theseus, Theseus's myth is my favorite because of his bravery throughout the story seeing his father in the arena slaying the Minotaur in enemy lines and becoming king and ruling well. I also believe the story teaches people to not lose there head in the moment and find out more information before they react wrongly and "lose their head".
