I think that is how she looked before she met Mr. Winterbottom. And she felt that her old look wasn't her personality.

The way I think that mrs Winterbottom changed is she was sad in the beginning becuase her family wasn't treating her the right way and she left because of that and came back with a new whole personality or maybe she needed a break becuase she wasnt getting treated the right way.

She had a new look, a new personality a lot of things have changed about her. I think she was trying to convince and/or impress "the lunatic" to come back or that's probably how she looked before she got married and had kids so that's what he's probably used to.

I think that was how mrs.winterbottom looked before she met mr. Winterbottom. Also i think she changed because she was under a lot of stress and she just wanted to be herself

I think Mrs.Winterbottom changed because i think when she had Mike that's what they looked liked. Or,she wanted to change her "Plain and simple look" and changed because looking how she did sickened her

I think they occurred because mike might of change her when the met up at the university and she was trying to connect with mike and she felt lost and how to show her son to see who she really is or always like that and mike was sad that he was addopted and she always doesn't have to be the same person

Mrs winter bottom changed because before she life she liked everything simple. Her son mike probably showed her to things new. He probabLy took her shopping.i think she probably realized that life isn't only about taking care of her family she realized it's about taking care of her too.
