Without water food is hard to grow and can be more difficult to preserve. It takes large amounts of water to grow food, we use 70% of water for agriculture.

Most people that do not have access to clean water live in Rural areas, lack of water comes from poor water management and economic issues that could be solved. 

Safe/clean water has huge impacts both on crop production and nutrition of the community. Many wells have been installed which made huge differences making gardens.
