If the season finishes as it is these teams will feel unsatisfied with the outcome knowing it could have been different if the season had continued. The same can be said for the top three teams. Liverpool only needs to win 2 matches to prevent any chance of Manchester City taking first place. Manchester City only 4 points ahead of Leicester City so a battle for second place could be a possibility. Whilst that would be disappointing for the clubs at the top it will be fairer for those in the relegation zone. I saw part of a match that was played in Germany on Saturday I felt that not having the fans in the ground impacted on the match. Playing in front of supporters is like having an extra player on the pitch and this will be felt by teams fighting to save being relegated. But, if it were to finish now and the current standings be used to show champions and teams relegated it would not be fair. 
The most exciting part of the season is the end, those final games where there is everything to play for - those six pointer relegation battles and those games where those in the race for Champion's League spots drop points and make the title race interesting. 
I love Jurgen Klopp and his passion, but Liverpool fans are another thing entirely, even more so since Stevie G crushed my dreams of watching the mighty hammers win an FA Cup. He will want to complete the season and it should be completed in order to give all teams a fair chance. It is a shame really as Liverpool will win it, have waited such a long time to win it and they will most certainly never shut up about winning - however, they will always have the shadow of Coronavirus to cloud their achievement.

I spoke to my husband and I asked his thoughts.
