Last week was very windy where I live. All afternoon I listened to the whistling of the wind and the sound of blowing leaves. It was exciting to listened to all the sounds! I even heard quiet notes of a wind chime! When I looked outside I found that most of the leaves had fallen from my tree and were blowing across my yard. Today, you will watch a short movie to better understand how our Sun helps influences our four seasons. Then, you will read a short passage which will explain why leaves turn colors in the fall. It might be helpful to take notes on a sheet of paper or draw pictures of important facts. This is a practice that scientists do! They keep notes and pictures in their science notebooks to help them remember what they have learned.
