Students talk it out and figure out what caused the physical aggression.  Student apologizes to the student they hurt.  Aggressor comes up with a plan to control their emotions and create a plan for the future.  If another incident occurs, parents are contacted and a meeting is planned.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Restorative Support</strong></p><p>Classroom community circle each morning to set a positive tone for the day. Recite Positive affirmations and have conversations on good sportsmanship.</p><p>Set up sports monitors to help prevent conflicts during soccer or basketball: Monitors could wear a yellow vest. They could blow a whistle if shoving or using foul language occurs. They would also cheer when the teams are showing good sportsmanship. Student monitors rotate during the week.</p><p>Support students in conflict resolution.</p><p>Students can write out or illustrate their feelings and share them with the student(s) causing the problems.</p><p>Team Teacher Support.  Student can visit a different classroom to collect their feelings- cool down</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
