Language in Perception and Thought is a 4000-level Laboratory class in Psychology at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, developed and taught by Suzy J Styles. Each week involves a three hour Lab session. Students collect preliminary language data that can inform a future neo-Whorfian study. The class conference, held in Week 11, allows students to share their language data, and the group then work towards creating a complete Conference Proceedings in Week 13, as a collaborative output. The final deliverable is an individual preregistration for a future study, submitted separately.
