         <title>Word it Out - word clouds</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Word clouds are great for showing frequently recurring words in a set of data by differing the size of the words. I like to use them to show students how many people voted for certain outcomes to show them that I value their opinion and I'm not being biased in my teaching. For example, the year 10 students had to vote on which country they wanted to study for their economics reports. I typed up all of their responses and the larger words were the countries we are going to focus on.</div>]]></description>

Like her, I use it during Silent Ball to ensure the classroom noise stays at a minimum, and it is particularly effective during times when students are working on their assessment tasks. I draw a line on the board and expect that the balls don't bounce above that line.</div>]]></description>

I personally use it for inspiration in designing my own templates, but my students use them for when they have to create presentations in class. Some templates you need to pay for, but others are free with proper attribution (which is also a great way to teach students are attribution and ethical responsibility).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
