It was around the same time that I started to get really into video games- when I was just 8 years old. So it makes sense that I would stick with something that's been such a big part of my life for so long.

I really enjoy the competitive aspect of playing Pokemon. I love having intense battles with players all over the world via Battle Spot. It forces me to think, weigh risks, make estimates, etc. I wonder if I'll be 50 and still in love with Pokemon. I hope so! I've been playing for almost 20 years now, and it's been a huge part of my life. I don't see myself ever getting tired of it. There's always something new to learn, and new challenges to keep me engaged.

 

Even if I'm not the very best player in the world, I still get a lot of satisfaction out of testing my skills against others and seeing how far I can push myself.
