She behaves like nothing has happened and they didn't do anything bad and her attitude to Macbeth is nice and gentle. This manipulates Macbeth into doing things he is not comfortable with in his new role.

This scene is crucial to the evolving of the play, as it works as a foreshadowing to the climax of the play. This is because the scene mainly consists in Macbeth and Lady Macbeth planning on how to get rid of Banquo and Fleance, as they are paranoid and scared him and his sons will take over the crown. This shows how Macbeth and his wife will be two-faced as to lavish Banquo and make him not be alert, just so they could kill him when he least expects it. This scene is created by setting it as paranoid and supernatural, as it represents the next phase of the prophecy. This is done through the introduction of the scene, where the ghost of Duncan and treason are envoked by a servant.

Phoebe

In this scene it is one of the first instances of Lady Macbeth first being paranoid and letting Macbeth be in charge of a situation. In Lady Macbeths first section of speech, she mentions her being in fear of her food being tampered with, this shows her paranoia towards the people she works with. She is in constant fear and paranoia of her being poisoned or her being hurt, etc. She also lets Macbeth be in charge when she says her last line in the scene which was, what shall we do? This shows that she is letting Macbeth take charge because she recognizes that Macbeths ambition is outgrowing her.

Macbeth in previous acts was unwilling to commit murder and viewed the act of murder itself as in issue/obstacle that he'd unwilling have to overcome. However, within this scene, it's apparent how Macbeth has abandoned his mentality of how acts of murder/violence are wrong. Instead, Macbeth considers murder as a solution to his problems rather than how he first perceived murder as the issue itself. Moreover, this scene places emphasis on the role reversal that's occurred following Macbeth's ascension to the throne and how he holds the assertive position in the relationship between him and Lady Macbeth, with this role reversal being showcased through how Macbeth is the one plotting and instructing Lady Macbeth to commit Banquo's murder.

Because in the previous plays it shows how they would tell each other everything and now Macbeth is hiding the fact that he will has a plan to kill Duncan. It is also important because In these scene we can see how Lady Macbeth has a change of attitude and she doesn't wanna do more violence I Guess.

At the beginning he sounds completely guilty of what he has done and voices his regret in the decisions that he has made in the past even expressing his jealousy in Duncan for being dead and not having to live with all of the mistakes that he has made. At the end of the scene he is completely oblivious and will not admit to his mistakes, he believes that what he has done is not his responsibility because it was completely his ambition acting on it.

In said scene, the audience are met with Lady Macbeth's shrinking power over her husband, intertwined with her insecurity and her new created fear, guilt and insecurity. Rihab mentioned a good point of how the reason that Lady Macbeth's doubts were hidden in the previous scenes due to supernatural powers. We remember Act 1 scene 5, where she pleads the witches to grant her supernatural strength and immunity to gilt and compassion just for her to complete the evil deed. Now that the deed is done, the supernatural power might have chosen to leave the body of Lady Macbeth, or perhaps her real soul was slowly uncovering, suggested in her coming out to Macbeth and sleep walking guilt and paranoia.

Whilst Macbeth was originally repentant and penitent regarding the the killing of King Duncan, his ambition and avariciousness of maintaining his position as king, completely takes over, growing with bloodlust and anticipation towards his next murder. This is evident in Macbeth’s use of animal imagery denotes the horror and despair, such as by describing his mind “full of scorpions”.

Lady Macbeths’ character takes a drastic change throughout this scene. In regards to the beginning of the play, she represents a ruthless character determined to execute the most morbid deeds to ensure her husband’s position as King. Due to this, act 3, scene 2 is extremely significat in the play, where Lady Macbeth’s character changes. She begins to penitence Duncan’s death, undergoing a sense of hopelessness and dejection. This can be identified in the quote 'Tis safer to be that which we destroy Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy” evidencing she begins to realize the price of murder, thus, causing her to no longer bare the pain and guilt.

This scene represents the climacteric stage of the play due to the powerful development regarding Lady Macbeth and Macbeth. As the hired killers proceed to murdering Banquo and Fleance, Lady Macbeth looks back with remorse and helplessness at the previous murder of Duncan and regrets their gruesome act whilst Macbeth is consumed with ambition and obsessive madness at keeping his position as king. That distinction between the two states of character are clearly emphasized by Shakespeare as he begins to manipulate and alter the role of power from Lady Macbeth to Macbeth.
