This hadith contains a series of questions from the angel Jibril to the prophet Muhammad:

1. about Islam

Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, that you should perform salah, pay the Zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj to the House if you can do so

2. about iman

It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and qadar (fate), both in its good and in its evil aspects.

3. about Ihsan

It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet (know that) He sees you.

4. about the Hour

The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner

5. about the signs thereof

When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master and when the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings.

1. (Tawhid Rububiyah) Rububiyah monotheism means believing that only God is the creator, maintainer, regulator, and ruler of the universe. God has full power over everything in this world. There is no authority but Allah.

2. (Tawhid Uluhiyah) Tawheed Uluhiyah means focusing on God in worship. Only God has the right to be worshiped and all forms of worship such as prayer, sacrifice, prayer, and fasting should be directed only to Him. This emphasizes that we cannot associate God with anything or anyone in matters of worship.

3. (Tawhid Asma' wa Sifat) Tawhid Asma' wa Sifat means believing that only Allah has perfect names and attributes. In this regard, we must understand the names and attributes of Allah as explained in the Qur'an and Sunnah without distorting, equating, or rejecting these attributes.

This story of prophet Ibrahim shows that he always shows respect to his father.

After becoming a prophet, he persuades his father with the utmost respect, and even after being called names by his father, he is still patient.

Jibril's hadith is one of the most important hadiths in Islam, narrated by Umar bin al-Khattab. This hadith tells the dialogue between the angel Gabriel, who resembles a human, and the Prophet Muhammad SAW about the teachings of Islam, including:

1. Faith: Belief in the heart of the six pillars (believing in Allah, angels, the book, the messenger, the Day of Resurrection, and destiny).

2. Islam: An external practice consisting of five pillars (confession, prayer, zakat, fasting, and Hajj).

3. Ihsan: The highest spiritual level, worshiping with the awareness that God is always watching.

4. Doomsday signs: Some signs of the end of time, such as slaves giving birth to their masters and poor people building tall buildings.

   
   

   This hadith summarizes three important aspects of Islam: faith, Islam, and ihsan, which include faith, charity, and a spiritual relationship with God.

• Performing acts of worship correctly according to Islamic teachings, such as praying properly, fasting, and giving charity.

Internalising the ihsan (positive virtues)

• Developing good character traits, such as sincerity, patience, and kindness, through acts of worship.

Salah
