I would dislike the "stand-still" cases that are thrown under the rug. Also, I know that this job isn't as exhilarating as TV makes it seem, and I can see myself getting bored due to my lack of patience when it comes to finding a solution. Furthermore, some cases could be a lot to handle, and finding a divide between work and personal life could be challenging.

Two benefits:

Vacation and personal time is one benefit that is important to me because working towards a goal keeps me motivated. Most people in the law enforcement field are allowed 5-10 hours off per month, which accumulate over time. Having a pension plan or a retirement plan is also important so that my hard work pays off once I retire. This is important to have so that I feel secure for my future.

Greatest obstacle:

The greatest obstacle in this career for me will probably be the non productive parts. Finding dead ends to leads, sitting in a car for hours to come back with nothing, and risking lives following false leads. I am very trusting so this would be difficult for me. Also, being able to turn my mind off of the emotional toll this job takes on after I clock out could be difficult, as I become emotionally invested in things easily.
