Discipline: Short story
Summary: Nathalie fell in love with two men, which were Brantain and Harvy. But her final choice was Brantain, because he was wealthy. She believed that she must have a wonderful life if she could marry him. However, at the end of the article, she did not refuse Harvey’s kiss on her wedding. She wanted both of wealth and love. Nevertheless, Harvey’s leaving recommended Nathalie that one person could not own all the beautiful things in the world.
Respons: ‘The kiss’ by Kate Chopin shows the scurviness and dishonesty of human. It also shows that people should not be too greedy. One person can not own all the things in the world. We should always think what we already have instead of complaining about what we don't have.

This article shows the greed side of human nature. Although a person has the pursuit of life is good, she can't be greedy to have all the good things. As mentioned in the article, the girl fell in love with two people, and at the last wedding she did not refuse the kiss from another boy. This reflects the greed inside. We should cherish what we have now.
And the interesting thing I find is that the girl in the article fell in love with two men. This is something I haven't seen before.

Answer:
1. I do not have similar experience with the Nathalie. A lot of times I cherish what I have now.
3. Don't be greedy. Cherish the beautiful people and things around you.

The article talks about a woman's greed. The woman wants true love, but at the same time, she also wants money. However, she can only choose one, but she tried to have both. Alternatively she has to give up one, and she chose money . I have to make hard choice in my life also. For example, I wanted to study overseas, which I had to leave my family for long time. In our life, there are many situations that we have to make a choice, and I believe when we are making the choice, we should not be greedy.
