Act 1, Scene 1 and 2

• Burts into the room screaming about his troubled child and asks for Theseus's support

• Dislikes Lysander and wants Hermia to marry Demetrius

• In order to force Hermia to marry Demetrius he proposes the Law of Athens: a child must obey their parents, if not obeyed they may face death

Act 4

• goes into the woods with Theseus and Hippolyta

• finds Lysander and Hermia asleep together as well as demetrius and Helena

• asks Theseus to enforce the Athenian law

• Theseus rejects the favor

Act 1, Scene 1 and 2

• Is in love with Lysander

• Egeus wants her to marry Demetrius, she refuses

• Is given 3 choice by Theseus, Death, become a nun, Or marry demetrius

• Is supported by Hippolyta

• Plans to runaway with Lysander

Act 2, Scene 1/2

• runs away with Lysander into the woods

• Tells him she wishes they sleep apart he obliges

• Lysander leaves her she assumes something bad has happened to him, she goes to look for him

• enters and sees them fighting over Helena

• tells Helena she is not a part of the joke

• Lysander says he hates her

• she is confused by his behavior and says what could be worse than him hating her

• her and Helena begin to argue and she attempts to fight

• ultimately she is left alone and falls asleep in the woods

• Puck places a powder on her while she sleeps to make her think this all was a dream

• wakes up alongside Lysander

• thinks everything was a dream

• Lysander professes his love for her and she believes he's making fun of her for not being able to get Demetrius

• Lysander And Demetrius fight over her as they are in love with her

• Hermia enters and she thinks Hermia is too making fun of her

• her and Hermia argue and nearly fight and turn against each other

Act 4

• wakes up along side Demetrius

• demetrius loves her and they will marry

• still confused as to why he loves her

Act 5

• Won a battle against Hippoltya, He won Hippoltya's hand and they will now marry.

• Supports Egeus Wishes to have Hermia marry Demetrius

• Gives Hermia 3 choices, Death, Become a nun, or Demetrius

Act 4

• enters the woods and sees the lovers

• overbear's Egeus's favor

• says they will all meet in the temple and marry

Act 5

• is married to Hippolyta now

• gives a speech on how love makes people foolish, ¨lunatic, lover, poet.¨

• him and Hippolyta actually get along and love and admire each other now.

Act 1, Scene 1 and 2

• Lost the battle to Theseus and must marry him

• Supports Hermia's choice of love (Lysander) silently, represents it with marking her with a symbol of the Amazons ( a cross )

• adores him because he is the son of a woman who supported her and loved her

• refuses to give the boy to Oberon

Act 3, Scene 1

• she awakes upon nick's singing

• she sees him and falls in love with him in his donkey form

• she convinces him to stay

  Act 4

• Titania trys to kiss the donkey but her avoids it

• is confused as to how she laid with a donkey but has had the love spell taken off her

• returns to Oberon and they make uo

Act 2, Scene 1/2

• devoted to Oberon

• sides with him on everything

• accidentally places love spell upon Lysander rather than Demetrius

Act 3, Scene 1

• Puck arrives as the rude mechanics are in the forest practicing

• he places a spell on Nick bottom and makes him look like donkey

Act 3, Scene 2

1. tells Oberon of his success with Titania and turning Nick bottom to a donkey

2. tells him of his mistake with Lysander

3. Oberon tells him to trick the men using they're voices so they feel tired and have to rest

4. he gives him a powder to ONLY place on Lysanders eyes to reverse the love potion to make him love Hermia again

5. he places it on Hermia

Act 1, Scene 1 and 2

• Plays Pyramus in the play for Theseus and Hippolyta's wedding (Pyramus and Thisbe)

Act 3, Scene 1

• wants more lines (a prologue)

• becomes a donkey at Puck's spell

• everyone runs away he thinks they are trying to fright him

• he stays and sings

• Titania convinces him to stay

  Act 4

• is transformed back to a human

• thinks his donkey form was a dream (body language)

• thinks everything with titania was a dream

• goes back to find the rude mechanics

• returns and everyone is happy to see him

  act 5

• puts on the play of Pyramus and Thisbe

Act 1, Scene 1 and 2

• Started the idea of playing "Pyramus and Thisbe" at Theseus and Hippolyta's wedding

• has stage fright on the prologue

Act 3, Scene 2

1. He learns of Puck's doing with Titania and Nick and learns of his mistake with Lysander and Hermia

2. he makes a plan for him to trick Lysander and Demetrius and place the love potion anecdote on Lysander's eyes to make him love Hermia again

Act 4

• goes back in the woods and sees how in love Titania is

• talks about a fight off screen where he tried to provoke titania but she didn't give in

• realizes he didn't want the Indian boy as bad as he thought but actually wanted Titania's attention
