The Pilgrims fled from England because they were not allowed to practice their religious beliefs. These Pilgrims had to risk their lives and the comforts of their homeland in order to start a new life in America. Their American Dream was to live in a place where they could safely practice their religious beliefs and not have anyone tell them not to.
