Today I learned that sublimation is when a solid goes straight into to a gas. Another thing I learned is that to make dry ice you have to put carbon dioxide in -109 degrees. The symbol for carbon dioxide is CO2. Also if you want to make sublimation go faster it's better if you put dry ice in warm water than cold water. If you put a quarter or a screwdriver in warm water then you put on dry ice it causes friction and starts to do a dance or sing. If you put cold water and dish soap in a bowl then put dry ice into the bowl the dish soap traps the carbon dioxide into bubbles. I learned all the cool things you can do with dry ice.

Another thing that I've learned from science is that water is basically made up of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom and they form
H2O. I also learned that dry ice is negative 109 degrees. The 4th thing that I want to share from what I learned is that dry ice is made with CO2. The last thing that I've learned from science is that ice is very different from dry ice because ice is made with H2O and dry ice is made with CO2.

I learned that dry ice is made of carbon dioxide (co2) at -109 degrees F. I also learned that going from a solid to a gas is called sublimation. Another thing I learned is that you can make homemade soda with dry ice, water, and a flavor that you like. I found it interesting that you can trap the carbon dioxide in bubbles by using dish soap. I learned that certain types of metal can have different physical reactions with dry ice and friction. An example of this is that if you put a quarter on a dry ice block the friction from the gas pressing on the quarter makes it move very quickly and makes lots of noise. Another thing I learned is that sublimation happens much faster with hot water because the temperature differences between the water and the dry ice is larger with the warm water than with cold water. I also learned that you should use leather gloves instead of rubber gloves.

I also learned that sublimation is a solid to liquid and liquid to gas. Another thing i learned is that some homemade soda is made out of dry ice. you can get dry ice at the market in the meat section but you have to be 18 years and older. I learned that you can trap the carbon dioxide with dish soap. you can use dried ice and hot water to make a cloud shower. dried ice is a very cool thing to learned about and I enjoyed every single thing that we did in mad science. And another thing i learned is that dried ice last longer than real ice cream.

Another thing I learned is that you can make soda with Dry Ice and you can taste the fog and have a fog shower with it. I also got to know that the hot molecules can blow a balloon faster that the cold molecules even if the balloon with the cold molecules gets a head start. You have to be 18 years or older to buy Dry Ice. You can find the dry ice at the meat section. Something cool I saw is that steve the screwdriver can make music on dry ice and quon the quarter (steve's girlfriend) can tap dance on dry ice. Another thing I got to do is hold bubbles and pop them, and they will turn into gas. Something I saw that was funny was when
Ms. Leonard tried to squeeze the bubbles and when she tried to taste the gas. I also learned that Sublimation is when a solid turns straight to gas and then to water.

Also, you can make homemade soda with dry ice and food extract! I saw that you can trap dry ice in a bubble with dish soap! I learned that warm molicules are sort-of crazy and bounce all around! But, cold molicules are slow and not crazy. So, if you put dry ice in warm water, it sublimates quicker. On the other hand, cold water is slow and doesn't sublimate quickly. Friction is what made Steve the Screwdriver sing, and Quinn the Quarter dance! Dry ice is made out of carbon dioxide (CO2). You can find dried ice in the meat section at a supermarket or grocery store.

But you would also need hot water, and maybe sweetener to make it taste better. You also put it in the fridge to make it turn into soda! You can make a lot of things with dried ice! To make dried ice, it isn't made out of water, but you get CO 2, and freeze to -109 degrees. You can also get dried ice at the supermarket in the meat section! Another thing you can do with dried ice is make a fog shower. I like how interesting dried ice is and how it can go into a lot of things! You can also make ice cream with it but with dried ice it would take a lot longer than normal ice cream. I remember when the scientist made dried ice in bubbles with hot water, dish soap, and dried ice. You can "swirl" it with a special glass so that the liquids won't come out. When you put the dried ice in, it will start to bubble and you can touch it. But when you pop it, the fog in the dried ice will come out. She brought out her friends and one could sing, (badly) and one could dance! (badly) I had fun learning about science and learning how to make new things with dried ice.

In a bucket and you put hot water in the bucket with the dry ice. It will make a a storm of gas. Solid turn to a gas and it is called sublimation.

I learned a lot of things while I was in the Mad Science Lab. Did you know that when a solid turns into a gas right away it is called

Sublimation. Dried ice (made out of carbon dioxide ) does Sublimation. Dried ice also is super cold -109 degrees fahrenheit. Also how the mentos volcano works. The carbon dioxide go into the little imperfections. you can make a screwdriver sing using friction. You just hear the friction not the ice melting.

I learned what dry ice is made up of! I always thought that dry ice was made up of water but it is made up of Carbon dioxide or co2. co2 is the scientific name for carbon dioxide. Dry ice is 109 degrees below zero. We saw how dry ice sublimated . Sublimation is when a solid turns into a gas like the dry ice. The lady trapped carbon dioxide using dish washing soap. She also made a quarter / Quinn dance. She did that by putting the quarter in hot water and then in dry ice. The friction made Quinn dance. The whole class saw how hot water makes dry ice sublimate faster.

Also that dry ice and hot water can make a balloon inflate faster than cold water with dry ice. Also I learned that sublimation is when a solid goes into a gas. I also learned that Co2 is carbon dioxide on the pedriodic table. Another thing I learned is you can't touch dry ice with your bare hands, you have to touch it with leather gloves. The last thing that I learned is when put a heated screw-driver and put it on dry ice. The friction with the screw driver and the dry ice it makes a very bad screeching sound. This is what I learned that the scientist taught us.

What I learn is that hot water works better with dry ice instead of cold water. Also you can make smoke with dry ice and water. Also a screw driver can make a weird noise if its in hot water and on to dry ice and a quarter can move and makes noise if its dipped in hot water you could fill a glove with carbon dioxide. You could also turn gases into a solid if you want to speed it up its called sublimation. Also if you rub your hands together it creates friction and a fun fact that dry ice is -109 degrees! You could even make your own soda by putting you dry ice and your flavoring you could also make you own ice cream with dry ice if you want to buy dry ice you have to be 18 or up.

I also learned that dry ice is -109 degrees. I also learned that dry ice is made from carbon dioxide, dry ice is just frozen carbon dioxide. I also learned that dry ice hazardous when handled incorrectly. I also learned you can use dry ice to make soda, because of the sublimation you can make fog that you can make any flavor. I learned also you can trap carbon dioxide in dish soap bubbles and when you pop those bubbles all the carbon dioxide releases. I also learned that you can make a fog with hot water and dry ice.
