One of your students' focus patients requires a basic dressing. Prior to the dressing change, you discuss the level of experience the student has had with wound care as well as their confidence level in performing the task. Your student says that they have practiced basic dressing technique in the skill labs at Uni and feels comfortable using ANTT to ensure asepsis. You agree that using ANTT is appropriate given the level of complexity of dressing. During the dressing change, you notice breaches in ANTT.
How would you provide feedback to your student about their skill level?
Suggestions:
-
